JUST MY OPINION- YOUR TESTIMONY REVEALS THE PROBLEM

I was listening to someone who was starting a diet, again. They were repeating the same diet they were on before that was successful in achieving the goal of weight loss BUT they gained the weight back and then some. Call me foolish but the problem is not your not eating to loose weight; the problem is your eating and gaining weight.

Your weight is often a reflection of your lifestyle. I know far to many people who have a reason to eat more than their body needs. It is not just Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Birthdayssss and aniversariessssss that people eat more than what they should. The fact that there is food on a plate and a person was taught to eat everything on their plate is reason enough to eat more than enough.

People think I am crazy when I suggest focusing on loosing just one pound, especially when they want to loose more than ten. My reason is this: It is easier to loose 5 pounds trying to loose one than it is to loose one pound trying to loose five. You really will change your focus.

If all you want to do is loose one pound you will skip desert. If you want to loose five pounds you will eat less food, perhaps just vegetables and water as well as skip desert. The problem with getting rid of everything you want is that you will eventually, once you have lost the weight, go back to eating everything you banned yourself from eating.

People who have successfully taken the weight off have changed their lifestyle. Many still eat desert, just not as much. Most still eat the foods they like, just not as much. They exchange one habit for another habit. Instead of a desert after dinner they go for a walk.

Gyms make lots of money having those great January and before summer specials. People are motivated to get fit for about a month and then the excuses come.

I know a person who have had a gastric-bypass and lost over 200 pounds and gained it back.             

If you want to know why you can’t keep the weight off; if you want to know what is stopping you from getting buns of steel or six-pack abs, listen to what you are saying. You’re testimony is telling you why you can’t keep the weight off.

WHO ARE YOU ASKING

FAITH- MY JOURNEY July 29, 2018

Yesterday I shared a post of a man talking about the devastating fires in Northern California. This man described his personal experience, mentioning individuals whom he knew died. He suggested donations to help those who did not have insurance or not enough insurance and mentioned he did not know what President Trump was doing.

Quite a few of my Facebook Friends have been asking that we pray for those affected by the fire. I have personally not prayed until early this morning; actually I talked to Father God about it.

2 Chronicles 7:14
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Not all of California is filled with people who do not follow Jesus, but, how many Californians who follow Jesus are trusting God and not government? People are saying: “Pray for us and send money.”

If we are praying AND BELIEVING, God will supply everything that is needed including money. You need rain  in abundance to stop the problem.

God will send the rain because we, His people, have asked. (Matthew 7:7) Will California be healed? Will the communities be restored? God has His way of doing things and the government has their way. Who are you asking?

FAITH AND FAMILY

FAITH: MY JOURNEY  JULY 29, 2018
Do churches really promote faith and family? When a family enters the building there are places for each age group to attend from infancy to adulthood; what does this teach?

I remember going to church with my grandmother, I sat beside her through the entire service. Infants, back in the day, stayed with the mother; when the child became fussy the mother left the sanctuary and quieted the baby by nursing, feeding, or changing the diaper. Children learned to sit and listen, they may not understand everything that was said but they did know what would happen if they tried to interrupt.

Churches have family days and family activities, it is as if being a family is optional on other days.

Children don’t have to be quiet in church today because children’s church incorporates noisy activities into their programs. Young people don’t have to sit respectfully, dress conservatively or even own a print Bible because everything is provided for them. By the time a child, who has grown up in these modern-day churches, reaches the age in which he or she will attend the adult church he comes in comfortable clothing and may or may not sit with family. Wives may sit with a friend she has not seen in a few months, husbands sit with an empty seat next to him just in case the wife may come.

What I see in many Christians today are optional families. People choose to get married, they just don’t tell the preacher they are living together. People choose to have babies, the number of individuals who attend church regularly and have abortions is higher than what most church leaders want to admit. Parents choose how they are going to raise their children: they allow the church to teach them about God, the Internet to teach them about social behavior, and the schools to teach them about sexuality.

The government has more influence on families today than the church. Courts tell fathers how much money they have to pay to support their children. Department of Social Services tells parents how to discipline their children. And Planned Parenthood tells women how many babies they should have. The government will provide a family: a roof over their heads, food in their bellies and additional funds to purchase clothing and such.

1 TIMOTHY 5:8
But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

Faith and family are not optional activities. We are to be fruitful and multiply in an orderly fashion. God first, we have a personal relationship with God the Father through God the Son and help from God the Spirit. The husband is the head of the house, his word (should) represents the word of God thus is the final authority. The wife is the husbands help mate not the husbands head; her gifts are complimentary to the husbands which is why she is his crown- his good thing. Children are submitted to the parents they learn about submission, purpose and love from them. The church should edify, clarify, correct and encourage; the church should reinforce God’s creation- the family.

JOHN 17:20-23
“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

Today’s family is not unified it is worldly. Today’s churches do not promote family they promote family activities. The result is: many are not one with God the Father through Jesus.

THE LIBERAL MEDIA

It is a matter of policy verses personality.

Admittedly there are a lot of personal attacks on Barrack Obama and his family on Social Media. Many conservatives find his stance on homosexuality, his behavior towards America and Americans, his anti-Israel and pro-Muslim position, the words of his wife and other actions are a direct reflection of who he is. In the opinion of many, myself included. Barrack Hussein Obama lacks the character of a man who should lead this country.

What I hear from my few Democrat Facebook and personal friends as well as family who are Obama supporters, are accusations that President Donald Trump is not fit to be President because of his past. In his past he associated with the vary politicians and celebrities that confess disdain for him now. Despite his success people against Trump believe he is not qualified to lead citing his sexual behavior as the reason why; no need to point out the hypocrisy of this argument.

The media should be consistent in its’ presentation of information. The media should present policy facts to its’ listening audience rather than personality judgments. Unfortunately, the individuals who are presenting information to the public are personalities themselves not men and women who research and present what they are found, there are very few journalist on television. Liberal media such a CNN consistently tell their audience President Trump is bad.

The liberal media will not celebrate low unemployment among minorities or the growth of the economy. CNN did not discuss why Obama actively tried to undermine Israel elections though they are actively trying to see how Russia influenced so many Americans to vote for Donald J Trump. Media personalities who speak out against shootings in Parkland Florida remain silent at the weekly death count in Chicago.

Because they hate Trump liberal media complain because his daughter has an active UNPAID position in the current administration; Ivanka is working for women’s rights in the workplace. Despite liberals supporting policies that will help women in the work place they speak a position that is against the activities of Ivanka Trump Kushner. Liberal media outlets such as MSNBC will not support anything President Trump has done.

Remember when Mrs. Obama “hired” her mother to watch the Obama children? Of course the media refuses to look at history to recall that President John F Kennedy appointed his brother Robert to be Attorney General.

The liberal media refuses to celebrate President Trumps quarterly donation of his mandatory salary. It is clearly a campaign to assassinate his character by any means necessary.

TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, has progressed from a joke among friends to a very serious phenomenon. The threats on President Trumps’ life, the disrespect and threats on his family including Barron are deranged, evil. The idea that media personalities and Hollywood types would want the leader of the country to offend foreign nations of power is not only irresponsible it is ludicrous!

The reason the Republican party is gaining support is because the personality attacks on a man who simply wants to make this a great nation make no sense, particularly when you compare them to the past 8 years. Despite his less than saintly past Donald J. Trump is working hard for this country with policies that are to the advantage of the people.

President Trumps policies compared to the liberal medias attacks on personalities are pushing the #walkaway movement. Fake news outlets will never see it.

THE REAL WORD

MY JOURNEY: July 24, 2018
There are a lot of words in the souls of people. I was amazed at the words released by various people this past month.

In the beginning there was nothing yet The Word existed.

JOHN 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

I have been thinking about these people, the ones I have been talking to. These individuals have told me exactly what their problem is, know what the solution is, yet reject everything. As I mulled over their words I remembered The Word. Though these individuals say they are Christian they reject The Word because of the other words they have heard.

JOHN 1:14
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Before there was doctors, lawyers psychiatrist, accountants and even preachers, The Word existed.  The very idea that The Word surpasses time and space should introduce a concept to the mind of people which, when accepted, should lead them to victory over any problem.

Think about this: The Word is greater.

Genesis 1:1-2
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Out of nothing came something because God created; people can’t do that. No matter how fantastic a man’s invention it is nothing compared to what God has done. God established the future of eternity in the beginning. Why do people think man’s word is the final word?

What does it take to convince man, myself included, that Yeshua is the real Word? There is nothing, no words. There is no man-made evidence that will prove that Yeshua is The Word but the fact that there is life validates His existence. I CONFESS! I CAN DO NOTHING.

MY FAITH JOURNEY 07/22/2018

There was a discussion on Facebook about evangelism. People were surprised that I do not actively go out and “witness” to people; I did in the past.

MARK 6:3-6
Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” So they were offended at Him.
But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.” Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching.

I stopped going door to door and telling people about a personal relationship with God because it is all lip service. If a person makes that confession what happens next? Did that individual really believe in his heart that Jesus is the Son of God and will He be Lord of the person’s life?  I would rather a person come to me and ask me why I am so blessed.

If Jesus could not convert everyone why do I think I will be able to just because I asked a stranger a few questions?

What I can do is live so that those around me will develop a curiosity about the God that I serve.

I am passionate about the God that I believe in and serve with my life. I have tried every way I know how to encourage people to seek Him and have failed on multiple levels. I will not stop, I will just change how I do it.

My Sunday posts have been Bible studies created to jump start the reader as he or she begin their faith journey. Now it will just be me sharing my faith journey. You, my dear reader, are on your own.

JOHN 8:28
Then Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things.

MY FAITH: AUTHORITY

Jesus’ authority is greater:


MATTHEW 8:9

 For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

THINK ABOUT THIS: Jesus is the Word; God says His Word will not return to Him void but will accomplish everything it was sent to accomplish. Jesus was sent to heal, to deliver, to save.  The Word was made flesh but He is still word which has great authority.  When you use the Word you are using God’s authority.

THE FRUIT OF THEIR LABOR

EXODUS 3:14
And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”

Not everyone presenting themselves as a Christian leader is a Christ centered leader. There are men and women who have attended schools, such as a seminary or university, that have perverted the Bible. They present “I AM” as if He was.  These people are wicked. They present themselves as lambs but are actually wolves- devouring the Truth out of the souls of men.

MATTHEW 7:15
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

For decades I have heard Christians call people “false prophet” yet these individuals sit under the leadership of a false prophet. How do I know they are false? Because their words do not agree with Gods.

People sit in church Sunday after Sunday, read their Bible and still lie about God. I remember when Congressional Representative Nancy Pelosi, a Catholic, declared abortions were not wrong.  A former President, Jimmy Carter, who was a Bible Study teacher at his Baptist church, stated that he believes Jesus would ‘approve of gay marriage’.  Maxine Waters, another member of Congress, while speaking to a group of supporters declared: ‘God was on their side’ as she encouraged rebellion against the Trump administration.  A Methodist church is very proud of the fact that a transgender individual has become a deacon. There is misrepresentations of God’s word in every denomination.

What we see in the media is shocking enough, but the fruit of false teachings within the not-so-famous is just as egregious. Elementary school age children using profanity, teenagers attacking the elderly, young parents neglecting and abusing their children, adults who lack maturity are the same people who are in church just about every week. It is the fruit produced by seeds planted from the pulpit. 

There is a rise in the number of individuals who choose to follow Islam as well as an increase in the number of atheist. This is a direct result of church leaders not called by “I Am” teaching their ideas; they are not prophets, speakers of God’s word.

There is a lack of leaders with integrity in churches today. Christians are measuring  their faith by how many things they have not how the fruit of the spirit is manifested in their everyday life.  Though they may have numerous material things: cars, phones and such, they are unsatisfied because their souls perish. People do not know what they don’t know.

HOSEA 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge,
I also will reject you from being priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

WOW! God, “I AM”, said He will “forget your children”! Look at the children of today.

Last week I wrote about political ideology and faith: LIBERALISM AND CHRISTIANITY. On a previous post I shared my thoughts on church: A CHURCH RESUME; and I discussed giving on another post: CHRISTIAN PONZI. Because there are so many lies being released by individuals with college credentials but lack godly wisdom I have for years encouraged people to study Scripture for themselves. Unfortunately, the lie is so ingrained in the minds of the masses that it is difficult to undo what has been done.

ROMANS 12:1-2 NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Each of us must take on personal responsibility for what we know. YOU CANNOT SPEND ETERNITY WITH FATHER GOD BASED ON WHAT YOUR CHURCH LEADER SAID.  If you offer your body as a living sacrifice you will not succumb to the lies of Satan.

LIBERALISM AND CHRISTIANITY

MATTHEW 5:43-44
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.


Sixty plus years of fighting colors has lead to the world ignoring God’s word in exchange for a victimization mentality. Someone has to tell it, someone has to say what the pulpit will not say, despite the backlash I will speak.

PROVERBS 8:6-7
Listen, for I will speak of excellent things, and from the opening of my lips will come right things; for my mouth will speak truth; wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

There has to be a voice crying in the wilderness, one that does not speak with Christian political correctness so that the message is not misinterpreted. I unapologetically share my thoughts and challenge the reader to seek Scripture for the truth. I firmly believe anyone seeking the truth will find it and the conclusion he or she will come to is simple: You cannot be a Christian and declare yourself to be liberal.

Liberalism is a euphemism for anit-Christ, anti-family, anti-life in the womb, values; it has infected the mind of those who once believed the Word of God was accurate and true. This ideology is being endorsed by many pulpits either because of intentional omission or actual commission. 

2 TIMOTHY 3:16-17
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

I encourage people to study the Bible for themselves because there are so many false doctrines being presented. There is a false sense of security among many regarding their relationship with God because church leaders either endorse what God says do not do or endorse political ideologies that endorse such behaviors.

“I don’t think,” or “I don’t believe,” are statements I often hear from people who want to justify behaviors that go against God’s word. Because God’s word is as old as man people want to think it is outdated.

ISAIAH 55:8-9
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways,
and My thoughts than your thoughts.
MALACHI 3:6
“For I am the Lord, I do not change; therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.
HEBREWS 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Those who follow Yeshua Hamashiach, Jesus the Messiah, know that His ways are not like the ways of the world and He does not change because the date has changed. God is not impressed with political ideology- Democrat or Republican.

The problem with liberalism is its’ foundational doctrine. Liberalism endorses same sex marriage. Liberalism endorses homosexuality. Liberalism does not believe Christians have the right to exercise their faith if the individual, the liberal, requires the Believer to do something that is against Scripture.  Liberalism wants to teach Christian children liberal ideology which includes: premarital sex, homosexuality and abortion.

When a Christian chooses to confess a greater loyalty to a political ideology, particularly one that has liberalism within its’ core, he is in essence denying the Truth of the Son of God.

TITUS 1:16
They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

Let’s look at this same verse from another translation.

TITUS 1:16 The EXPANDED BIBLE
They ·say [claim; confess] they know God, but their actions show they ·do not accept [deny] him. They are ·hateful people [detestable; abominable], they refuse to obey, and they are ·useless [unfit; disqualified] for doing anything good.

Turn on the news, go to any Social Media web site, talk to someone who declares he is a Democrat, listen to the words. Not only are they openly threatening the President of the United States but many are emboldened to threaten his family. Men and women associated with the Democrat party believe it is acceptable to display body parts that are normally covered as a form of protest. So called church leaders openly endorse same sex unions and even are involved themselves in same sex relationships. Sex trafficking, drug abuse and violence are extreme behaviors that liberals choose to ignore while endorsing illegal behaviors. How can a person who declares he loves the Lord accept these ideologies?

Dear Liberal Christian: you say you know God but your ideologies and your actions do not line up with His word. You deny the Truth of Scripture, you speak hate against people you do not agree with you refuse to obey the laws of the land or the precepts of God and you are useless, unfit to serve, to the kingdom of God.  YOU CANNOT BE A LIBERAL AND CALL YOURSELF A CHRISTIAN.

1 TIMOTHY 6:3-5
If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.

Jesus taught His followers to love their enemies, plural. I submit we can love them from afar, we do not need to embrace their lifestyles and we should reject their anti-Bible ideology. Jesus said we are to do this because Father God gives each of us the same opportunities every day; the sun rises on evil as well as good.

Many party loyalist have no idea of what their  political organization represents they parrot what they have been told. Forced to defend an un-biblical ideology they choose to ignore Scripture and quote man. There should be a difference between Liberals and Christians. The word of God declares:“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine,”  there is no exception to this.
