NETTIEOLOGY: Can it be called a church if the format is secular but they talk about God?

1 JOHN 2:15-16
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 

One of my Facebook friends became very upset when his church decided to support homosexuality in the worst possible way- it endorsed same sex unions. For weeks now he has been pointing out the biblical offense this denomination is committing against YHWH. Of course, his writings are falling on deaf ears; the church had already decided to choose the pleasure of the flesh.

My friend’s church is not the only one that has gone secular. I have been a part of many churches and at some point I become restless and unable to stay. These churches do many good works and the people are very pleasant, some I still have contact with. I am in search of GOD not great songs or easily digested message.

DEUTERONOMY 4:29
But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
ISAIAH 55:6 -9
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 

I know that there are no perfect people in the church or outside of the church and I admit to my own imperfections; that is not the issue. There should be some reasonable expectations of a place in which followers of Yeshua attend. Every church that represents Eloheem should promote the hearer to want to be more like Him and not them.

Let me be more specific.

First we must look closely at Deuteronomy and Isaiah. Each person must seek the Lord, not his church leader, not her denomination, not the church program. We are to seek Him while He can be found, which means there will be a time when we will not be able to find him no matter how hard we look. (Think about the story of the 10 virgins- 5 could not get in. Matthew 5:1-13)  That should be reason enough to take Bible Study very seriously.

YHWH through His prophet Isaiah goes on to say: “ my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways”. I believe this is where we get the difficulties from. Each church wants to share their opinions on what His ways are and the word has already informed us: our opinions are just that, our opinions. He has given us His Word and yet we have difficulty following it.

Before churches declared heaven and hell are real and you must decide where you want to go. Now the church is trying to help people cope with day to day problems. We have difficulty following His word because we are in the world and their words, the words of the world, make more sense to us. It is written: “my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways”.  People no longer think about heaven or hell because of what is happening today. The church has evolved and fused the word of God into the ways of the world.

FOR EXAMPLE: The evolution of marriage
The church used to preach against fornication, adultery was frowned upon. Growing up in the 60’s I remember stories of adulterous church leaders; how often do you hear messages against fornication? 
My first Bible lesson on homosexuality was from a homosexual man, he was in the hospital for surgery and I was working the night shift. He stayed awake all night going from the old covenant to the new covenant revealing the verses in the Bible that declared homosexuality was a sin. This gentleman’s lovers were all church leaders, some were married. That was in the late 70’s.
Over the years the church shied away from what I would consider real marriage counseling. How else would you explain the high divorce rate among Christians?  No, it may not have been the gateway to same sex ‘marriages’ however it did facilitate the ability for many to redefine marriage. 
Adultery is no big deal. No one is surprised when a church leader divorces his wife and marries someone else. Now, we are expected to accept a church leader being united with a person of the same gender. 

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (vs.9)

When I discuss the problems of large churches, the fact that a Pastor no longer has a direct relationship with the members, I am told: “That is what small groups are for.” I am told that real Bible teaching is done in small groups not on the Sabbath day in which the majority of people are present.

On the Sunday, or Saturday, when the people gather what is presented is a message that is not offensive, not controversial and not life changing. What many believers hear today is a fusion of today’s culture and something in the Bible that will not hurt the feelings of weak Christians.

Yeshua hurt people’s feelings.

Today what many see as a representation of Christianity is Fusion-Faith. There are churches that have made man’s thoughts YHWH’s thoughts and man’s ways YHWH’s ways.

2 PETER 2:1-2 NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION
But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute.

I do not shy away from church, I attend occasionally but I am not as active as I once was. As a small group leader I discovered it was more of a social club than a place to seek His face. The music is wonderful, the message is good but like going to a fast food restaurant, it feels you up temporarily. I no longer attend church to hear the word, I just go for fellowship.

Of recent times I have had more positive conversations sitting outside with neighbors discussing the Word. My understanding has been challenged, talking to unbelievers than it ever has in the decades of sitting in church, these conversations have forced me to study more.  I am not trying to fuse my faith into a worldly life and like my friend I reject the church that is trying to force me to do so.

FUSION FAITH

NETTIE-OLOGY: This is just my opinion. I will not be offended if you disagree with me but the Bible says:

ISAIAH 54:13
All your children shall be taught by the Lord,  and great shall be the peace of your children.

Look around at what is happening with children today; even the young adults who  were once children are behaving like little hellions!  Do they sound like they have peace?  How can children learn what their parents do not know? 

The principles found in the new covenant were established in the old covenant however many of today's Believers do not have this foundation.  YHWH, Yeshua Hamashiach, Torah and other names are seen as outdated and legalistic therefore not taught. If the parents do not know them how can the children?

Clearly the lack of peace we see in our children is because we have removed GOD from the schools and replaced Him with Satan. Our children are taught of Satan not directly but through his principles and precepts: homosexuality, abortion, transgender-ism, rebellion to authority and many such anti-biblical behaviors. The children are taught and the parents and the church are silent.

 Modern day Christianity has become a fusion faith that serves a universal deity. GOD has become a universal word that is often confused with or merged with god. The lie that we worship the same god is released out of the mouths of many Christians in an effort to co-exist with individuals who do not believe in the Trinity. We do not worship the same GOD.

You cannot have fusion faith like you have fusion meals. Islam and Christianity cannot coexist because the god of the Quoran is not Eloheem the Creator of heaven and earth.  Adonai, the Lord, has commanded His people to obey Him, not Buddha.  The first commandment tells us to obey no other god, our heart and soul belongs to Him and Him alone.

I believe our churches have failed the masses. In its' need to pay the bills for bigger and better buildings it has taken its' eyes off the main purpose which is  feeding the sheep His Word.  Children's church is no longer a babysitting service but it is not a place in which the commandments of YHWH are presented as not optional. 

2 PETER 2:1-2
Just as false prophets rose up in the past among God’s people, false teachers will rise up in the future among you. They will slip in with their destructive opinions, denying the very Master who bought their freedom and dooming themselves to destruction swiftly, but not before they attract others by their unbridled and immoral behavior. Because of them and their ways, others will criticize and condemn the path of truth we walk as seedy and disreputable.

Many of the churches today are preaching a fusion faith which is a false teaching. There is no such thing as a perfect church which it is why we must all study the Word of GOD and work out our own salvation.  Our children are dying because we have not done what was told to us to do, teach them.                                                - written by Marsha L F Randolph

2020 VISION: THE 1ST DEMOCRAT DEBATE

2020 VISION: So far there are about 20 Candidates running for the Presidential election on the Democrat side. On June 26 AND 27 the first Debate for these candidates will be held in Miami. Let’s put aside the record number of candidates and consider who could come out the winner of this event.

The leader / winner will have successfully presented the best sound bites in the following categories: Trump, Promises, Victims. Let’s briefly examine them.

Upon successful completion of this discussion the Democrat candidates must explain how supporting a victimized people group, that the majority of Americans do not consider victims, is a good thing.  They will declare their loyalty to the alphabet group, the homosexual community, even though they represent less than one percent of the general population. They will act sympathetic to the poor defenseless African-American population, who have been subject to racism from the time the slave ship arrived on the continent.  Because homosexuals and African-Americans are not the only victims of White male dominance they will also discuss those poor children traveling to America to obtain a better life but instead have been placed in cages until they can be sent back to their country. In their deranged mind each candidate believes he, or she has a better grasp on how to change America.

I wonder if a pre-requisite for being a Democrat is to make or receive foolish promises. Free healthcare, free tuition, free entrance into the country each of these candidates will explain why he or she has a plan to facilitate these freebies by taxing the one percent; except the one percent does not have enough taxable income to pay for it all. I suspect that each candidate will have the same empty promises thus each will get a participation trophy on this one.

A quick glimpse of the candidates and I believe they all “hate” President Trump. If you are going to watch the debate don’t play the drinking game! Or at least don’t drink every time you hear them say “Trump”.

Since, based on liberal standards, President Trump is a sexist, racist, homophobic, adulterous mentally challenged man who hired Russia to steal the election for him we know there will be a lot of media sound-bites written. The winner of the Trump bashing contest aka Democrat debate will go to the individual, male, female or transgender, who has the most quotes on CNN. 

The winner of the debate will have to give away hard earned tax payer dollars, ignore the rights of the majority to support the pleasures of the few and prove he or she hates Trump the most. No plans to support the country need be mentioned.                written by Marsha L F Randolph

BLACK BABIES

NETTIE-OLOGY: How sad it is to see that White men care more about Black babies than African-Americans.

I recently read: Black women make up 7% of Alabama’s population yet 62% of the abortions are done on Black women. When the story of the Alabama Abortion ban came out it focused on the Republican men who helped get it passed into law not the female who introduced the bill or the female Governor who signed the bill into law.

The Alabama Human Life Protection Act was put into law by a vote of 25 to 6 with 3 State Senators not voting. The 25 yes votes were all Republicans and all male, there are only 4 female Senators and they are all Democrats. Of the 4 female representatives 1 did not vote and the other abstained. The media headlines present this information as if it is proof that White men hate women particularly Black women.

We are at a time in which lost souls are very evident. The reasons babies have to be killed is because children take away from the fleshly desires of self-centered people. Children force people to make a decision to either assume responsibility for actions or reject personal responsibility. Children force people to think about the future which means he or she cannot live only for today. Far to many people are absorbed in their own self with no real concern for the consequences of their actions.

Making it difficult to have an abortion means that a person has to think about what she is doing. No, it is not going to stop everyone from promiscuity and the rapist will continue to rape. Unfortunately, with the help of government funding and the need for stem cells and other body parts, abortions have been presented as simple solution to a ‘problem’ as if an abortion has no more side effects than taking an aspirin.
