THE ART OF GIVING- it is more important now than ever before

NETTIE-OLOGY: I am a giver, I thrive on helping people help themselves. I am not happy when I cannot give, but I am no fool. YHWH directs my path of giving.

LUKE 6:38 THE EXPANDED BIBLE
Give, and ·you will receive [L- it will be given to you]. ·You will be given much [L- …a good measure…]. ·Pressed down [Compacted], shaken together, and running over, it will spill into your lap [C- the image is of grain overflowing its container]. The ·way you give to [standard/measure you use with] others is the ·way God will give to [standard/measure God will use with] you.”

It is more than just money that YHWH wants us to give. Your ten percent to the church is not helping your children become better Christians- you must give of your time in order to raise them in the way that they should go. Sending a check off to some missions field in a foreign country is not going to provide comfort to your aging family members or a neighbor. In such a time as this, with the COVID-19 virus around,we must all evaluate what and how we are giving.

The art of giving is based upon you not thinking about yourself. 

No one on my block has COVID-19 yet we choose to shelter-in and when we communicate we keep safe distance from each other. Why? Because we all go to the store and we don’t know who has what once we leave our block and we DO NOT WANT TO GIVE someone a virus we might have picked up while we were out.

Many grocery stores are designating a certain time for the most vulnerable, our seniors, to shop before everyone else. There are people who try to manipulate the rule so that they can get what they need.

What you give will be given back to you ‘in spades’! The Bible says: “good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom” (Luke 6:39 NKJV).

I believe (it’s just my opinion) that when people do things to manipulate the system to their advantage they have chosen to bless themselves. YHWH has promised to bless us to be a blessing (Genesis 12:2, 22:17), if you are blessing yourself you have in essence told God you don’t need what He has. Far to often I hear people justify their behavior by declaring: “I deserve” whatever they are doing.

MATTHEW 6:1-4 THE LIVING BIBLE
“Take care! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired, for then you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven. When you give a gift to a beggar, don’t shout about it as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you in all earnestness, they have received all the reward they will ever get. But when you do a kindness to someone, do it secretly—don’t tell your left hand what your right hand is doing. And your Father, who knows all secrets, will reward you.  

Is it bragging? Are people sharing how they “got over” on the system as if it was something to be admired?

How many times have you seen someone pull up in the handicap parking space and get out of their  car fully functional? They have their reward- a special parking space.

How many people ran to the store and purchased more toilet paper than they needed? They have their reward.

How many people give ten percent plus to their church, and refuse to help their children? The church respects them and their home life is a wreck- this is their reward.

How many people were disrespectful to Law Enforcement and now want them to keep sick people away from them? I don’t know how you will be rewarded.

I don’t know how many people will be rewarded during this crisis the world is going through. I do know YHWH is full of mercy.

PSALM 86:15 NEW KING JAMES VERSION
But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.

PSALM 119:64 NEW KING JAMES VERSION
The earth, O Lord, is full of Your mercy; Teach me Your statutes.

PSALM 145:8 NEW KING JAMES VERSION
The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, Slow to anger and great in mercy.

JAMES 3:17 NEW KING JAMES VERSION
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

I don’t believe we will have to shelter in until April 30th but it is not the government that will heal our land. Abba Father will heal the land if His children get over themselves. It is His mercy that has held the virus at bay in America and it is His mercy and grace that will deliver us from more death. That does not mean we will come out of this unscathed, many people will see the scars of their selfishness.

Today is the day to give. Call that person you have not spoken to but no you should have along time ago- it cost you nothing but your time.

PERFECT PEACE IN THE MIDDLE OF COVID-19

NETTIE-ISM: I am troubled in my soul, not for me but for people in the world.

ISAIAH 26:3 NEW KING JAMES VERSION
You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

Let’s examine this one verse, working backwards.

“Because he trusts in You.”
The scary thing about COVID-19 is its’ attack on the respiratory system- no one wants to be on a ventilator. People are becoming worried because the hospitals do not have enough supplies. Here is what the Bible says:

PROVERBS 3:5-6 KING JAMES VERSION
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 

PHILIPPIANS 4:19 KING JAMES VERSION
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 

Do you really trust YHWH? Do you believe He will walk you through the valley of the shadow of death (Psalm 23)? Or, are you focused on what the government is doing and not doing. “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” If you really trust Him then you will know that YHWH, your God, will supply all that is needed.

“Whose mind is stayed on You.” What are you thinking about? What are you focused on? Many Christians that I see on Facebook are counting the bodies, reporting the daily death count from COVID-19. Others are focusing on who has what supplies and the fact that some places do not have something becomes a subject of intense conversation.

PHILIPPIANS 4:6-9  KING JAMES VERSION
6) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9) Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.  

In his conclusion, the Apostle Paul reminds the Philippians to:

• Be thankful, 
• Allow the peace of God to surpass human understanding.
• Think about, focus on- “whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report”.

As Believers we are able to do this because we have “learned and received, and heard” His word. The Apostle, who has gone through quite a bit in his lifetime, uses himself as an example. If he is able to focus on, keep our minds stayed on, YHWH during times of trouble we can too.

This is the promise, to all of the believers: He “will keep him in perfect peace”.  Unfortunately, many Believers have not enough faith built up to trust God because they do not have their minds on YHWH.

ISAIAH 26:3 THE EXPANDED BIBLE
You, Lord, ·give [preserve/keep in]·true  peace [complete peace; L- peace, peace]·to those who depend on you [T- whose mind is stayed on you; L- whose purpose is firm], because they trust you.

DEAR READER:
We are walking through a valley and not everyone will come out on the other side. But, you have to keep walking. The only way to get through this unscathed is to keep your eyes on your Creator.
Yes, we must listen to the authorities, that is why we pray for them. No, we do not have to trust in the television personalities, no matter what their political affiliation is. Be not wise in your own eyes (Proverbs 3:7, 26:12)  but use godly wisdom (James 1:5) in all that you do.  Respectfully, Nettie.

THEY ARE NOT STUPID- IT'S A HARD HEART

NETTIE-OLOGY: They are not stupid! The problem is worst, they have a hard heart.

MATTHEW 13:15 NEW KING JAMES VERSION
For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, so that I should heal them.’

There is a saying that is said when people cannot reason with a person who is speaking illogically- “You can’t fix stupid”. I have thought that on more than one occasion and spoke it a few times as well. The remark is meant to be a put-down towards the person but these people really believe what they believe.

I personally know quite a few people who I place in a category of “not able to fix”. But, the problem is not that they are stupid, the problem is a hardness of the heart.

Jesus said:

MATTHEW 13:13-14
Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: ‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, and seeing you will see and not perceive;

If Yeshua knew people would not understand Him, why do we expect others to understand what we are saying?

MATTHEW 13:15 THE VOICE
For this people’s heart has become calloused;   they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’

It is not that these individuals, are mean and “cold hearted”, most of them can be very kind and considerate; they really don’t see their actions as cruel- take abortion advocates as an example. Yes, there are people who are pure evil, these people have a debased mindset.

ROMANS 1:28 THE EXPANDED BIBLE
[L- And since/just as] People did not ·think it was important [consider it worthwhile; see fit] to ·have a true knowledge of [or acknowledge] God. So God ·abandoned them to [allowed them to pursue; gave them over to] ·their own worthless thinking [a depraved/corrupted mind] to do things they should not do.

Let the reader take note: YHWH released them to their own ways, we do not have to do anything but walk away, distance ourselves from those individuals.

I speak from my own experience because the world is a big place and I don’t know everyone. I know people who frustrate me because they reject basic, common sense, truths. These people strongly disagree with my thinking and even more strongly believe that I am wrong- both religiously and politically. I have tried to accept their truths as truth but in the end I have to disagree.

ROMANS 10:10 NEW KING JAMES VERSION
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

You cannot believe what your heart cannot receive. 

Yeshua is the Truth, He is the ONLY way and in Him there is Light. Many people have lives that go against the way of the Truth. There are individuals that support the words of people who do not support the infallible word of YHWH. These individuals have chosen, CHOSEN, to not see or hear anything that goes against what they have chosen to believe. In rejecting Jesus they have elected to go another way.

No, we can’t fix stupid, we can’t help the unbeliever, only YHWH can. In Psalm 51, David cries out to Abba and ask, begs Him, to fix him.

PSALM 51:10 THE EXPANDED BIBLE
Create in me a ·pure [clean] heart, God,  and ·make my spirit right again [L- renew a right/steadfast spirit in me]. 

This understanding is why I stopped debating Liberals and Super Christians. Both groups have eyes but cannot see and ears but cannot hear. Because they lack understanding (Proverbs 4:&) they reject information.

A Word about Super Christians. I penned this term to categorize individuals who believe they have mastered the word of YHWH and their interpretation is the correct understanding. Unfortunately, with these Believers the foundation of their faith is tradition and not Bible (Matthew 15:6). These individuals are the backbone of most churches, they volunteer, the give, they attend regularly; in their mind they reflect how a “real” Believer should act.

Political debates for many people are along party lines, I don’t share in that understanding. I vote according to my faith, which for the most part is Republican. I don’t vote based on race. I don’t vote based on gender. I will not vote for a person who supports abortion or same gender marriages. It is those who are “die-hard” Republican or Democrat that become deaf and blind to any conversation. When your faith takes second to your political beliefs your heart is hardened to the truth.

If you think about it, when you have a strong disagreement with a person it is because they “just can’t see” things the way you see it. Perhaps you are the one that is blind to the truth! Perhaps you are the one who has become deaf to any different information. 

What I do is:  hear what is being said, I try to understand and then I evaluate the information. If I am being told something that does not agree with Scripture I can reject it. YHWH will help me understand (James 1:5). My heart has been hardened from time to time and the Spirit of God (Ruach Hakodesh)  hasgiven me understanding..

To be “stupid” simply means you don’t know something, you can fix stupid.

A person hardens his own heart by rejecting the Truth. YHWH hardened Pharaoh’s heart temporarily, we read how his heart was hardened and then he became submissive and his heart was hardened again until the children of Israel were released (Exodus 4-14).  Only YHWH can fix a hard heart.

There are many people who do not want to change, they are comfortable with their life as it is. We cannot change them, we cannot convert them, we cannot help them see the error of their ways. We must understand- they feel the same way about us! There are many self-righteous individuals, also known as: hardened heart people.

Today we see many hard hearted people, I try not to be one of them.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU GO TO CHURCH?

NETTIE-ISM: How often should a person go to church? Once a week? Twice a week? Twice a year?

ACTS 5:42  KING JAMES VERSION
And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ. 

Before Bibles were available to every man woman and child. Before cell phones, emails and YouTube people had to meet face to face in order to know what the Word of YHWH declared.

Today, many men and women of faith (and some that manipulate the word) have books to detail what the Bible says. Whatever is happening in the life of a Believer, or non-believer, a discussion can be found in a book. Yesterday, I called a Pastor-friend and asked her a biblical question; I did not go to church.

Theological questions are being asked and answered all over the place but in church. Don’t believe me? Check out social media formats like Facebook.

I believe today’s church has redefined itself. Today’s church has become what Bible Study classes once were. Once upon a time Bible study was the place where a subject, giving for example, was taught. Now, giving has become a series preached from the pulpit under a title such as: How Do We Demonstrate The Love of God; within this 4 to 6 week message tithing will be taught. The problem is, in the midst of the series a girl is contemplating abortion, someone is practicing homosexuality, a spouse is abusing his spouse, and or someone is dying.

2 TIMOTHY 3:16 KING JAMES VERSION
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 

 
The messages being taught today are inspirational but not necessarily inspired by YHWH. Church doctrine is preached, the question is: Does the church doctrine agree with YHWH’s word?

When we leave church we feel good but do we think we need to correct our behavior? Did we learn something regarding the will of YHWH that we did not know; were we instructed in righteousness? A Pastor once taught: If you are in a church for a year and you have not changed you are in the wrong church.

Why do you NOT go to church? Church goers believe it is because of the hypocrisy in the church, I know this is not the reason. I believe, people don’t go to church because the church is not helping them with their life. Let’s read The Expanded Bible’s elaboration on 2 Timothy:

2 TIMOHTH 3:16 THE EXPANDED BIBLE
All Scripture is ·inspired by God [breathed out by God; L- God-breathed] and is useful for teaching, for ·showing people what is wrong in their lives [refuting error; rebuking], for correcting faults, and for ·teaching how to live right [training in righteousness].

The Bible reflects the word of YHWH. The Bible is used for teaching the hearer what is wrong in their lives and how to fix it. Non-church attenders see people who give ten percent plus to the church every Sunday while committing acts they, the non-believer, would not do. For example: I know a man who loves his wife as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25) but stopped going to church because the messages he heard did not help him in his everyday life. Whereas: I knew a man who was very active in the church, present for most services on Sunday and during the week, left his wife for another woman. The Sabbath, if taken seriously, is not about church fund raising but teaching the word of God so that people will correct, or begin the process of correcting, what is wrong in their life.

The Word of YHWH corrects, rebukes, disciplines. I am not talking about publicly humiliating a person but gently sharing, teaching, pointing out, things that could be happening in your life. Political correctness and the fear of the laws of man has stopped many church leaders from telling parents to discipline their child. Scripture teaches that parents are to raise a child in the way he or she should go (Proverbs 22:6, Isaiah 54:13), I have heard, and once believed myself,that we should give a child the opportunity to decide for himself. NO! That is not what Scripture teaches and it is not what Satan is doing to our children today.

Why do you GO to church? Many people say because Scripture teaches us to assemble. They quote Hebrews 10:25. Let’s look at it from the Expanded Bible translation

HEBREWS 10:24-25
Let us think about ·each other and help each other [or how to provoke/rouse/encourage each another] to show love and do good deeds.  You should not ·stay away from [neglect; forsake] ·the church meetings [meeting together], as some are doing [C- some were abandoning Christianity and returning to Judaism], but you should encourage each other [C- to stay faithful to Christ and to other believers], and even more so as you see the day coming [C- the day of the Lord, when Christ will return]. 

The Apostle stated that people were returning to their old ways, going back to Judaism. Back then, the church was young and the only way to learn was to share information. They did not have: YouTube, Facebook, email, text message, DVDs, books or even personal Bibles. It was important to get together, so as to encourage each other AND TO POINT OUT a person’s errors (with love of course).

How often should you go to church?  According to Acts 5:42 church attendance is a daily opportunity.  The real question is: WHAT SHOULD YOU EXPECT FROM THE CHURCH YOU ATTEND?

2 TIMOTHY 4:2-4 NEW KING JAMES VERSION
Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

IS THAT WHAT YOU BELIEVE?

NETTIE-ISM: Your faith is showing and I think you need to cover up!

JAMES 1:2-3
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

We are in the midst of a pandemic, the COVID-19 virus can be found all over the world. Many media outlets are citing worst case scenarios and suggesting that this current administration is incompetent. Many, including “Christians” are  living in fear.

For the record, I am angry. I am angry because I see Christians afraid. It angers me because man  of these “Christians” question my faith because of the things they see me do that they believe makes me not a ‘real’ Christian. I smoke cigars, drink alcohol, use profanity and don’t attend church every week therefore, in the eyes of many, I didn’t really get saved. Yet, in the midst of this storm I trust YHWH and they don’t- that makes me angry.

James 1:2 says we should be joyful in all that we go through because the difficult times are just a test of our faith. Many of you have failed the test.

I listen to the Press Conference that the President of the United States and members of the administration have; He speaks sternly yet with hope.

HEBREWS 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Have you ever noticed, there is not a comma in between the word “Now” and “faith” in Hebrews 11:1?

Your faith today, now faith, she be filled with, based upon, consisting of the stuff you hope for not on what you see. What many people, including Christians are looking at are the death counts.

QUESTION: Is that what you believe? Do you believe that things are going to get worst and President Trump is lying?

Your fear is revealing your faith. Based on James 1:2-3, you have failed the test.

JAMES 1:4-5
But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

A disease has crept into our midst. COVID-19 is deadly to the most vulnerable among us. Our instructions from YHWH is to be patient, wait it out. We need to let the professionals, not the media, do what they know how to do.

There are people who believe there are various conspiracies influencing what is happening. Scripture teaches that our enemy Satan is looking for people to devour (1 Peter 5:8). But, James instructs us to allow patience to take over our actions and if we lack wisdom ask God. We don’t know what to do, we don’t know how to act BUT YWHH, He will guide us through the valley of the shadow of death.

As President Trump and Vice President Pence as well as all those within this current administrations team: WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS.

Many Christians are failing the test but it is not over. Stop listening to those uncircumcised Philistines and start listening to God. Stop watching death counts and start looking at the Word.

ISAIAH 26:3

I have peace. I trust YHWH and I listen to the directions of the President of the United States.  What are you doing?

THE WARNING (An ebook exert)

THE WARNING
On May 7,2016 I was awakened with a sense of foreboding, what was downloaded in my spirit by God led me to write the following on Facebook:
“It has been a long time since I was awakened by God. There was much revealed but the bottom line: 1) Study your Bible 2) Get debt free. It does not matter who leads your country.”
That was the gentle warning the Holy Spirit revealed to me. The sense of urgency could not be shaken, I felt and feel a strong need to help people discover the Truth that is within their soul.
Over the years I have learned a lot but there is still much to learn. What I do know: most people are not ready for any type of emergency. In addition: people do not know what the Bible actually says about the ending of times.
The Word of God has been marginalized from many pulpits; politically correct feel good messages of faith have created an ignorant group of people who are not ready for the confusion, strife, turmoil, and persecution spoken of in Scripture. Faith in God has decreased and the influence of Satan has increased not only in the world but in Churches.
Put aside what the Bible says about the end times. Everyday someone is facing some type of SHTF event. What is SHTF? Shit Hits the Fan.  Emergencies include: the loss of a job, life threatening illness, death of a loved one, hurricanes, fires, floods, tornadoes, any type of unexpected emergency. Many assume that the government will take care of them no matter what happens and are surprised when the help is limited or non-existent.
The idea of being a “Prepper” getting ready for SHTF is crazy to many. Both the government and Scripture advised everyone to be ready. The government calls it “Emergency Preparedness” the Bible simply tells us we need to be “ready” because we do not know the day or the hour (Matthew 24:36). You don’t have to call yourself a “Prepper” in order to be ready for any type of emergency but you should be ready.

WHY AM I DRINKING BORAX?

THE ARK IS BEING BUILT

I have a personal relationship with Abba Father through His Son, my Lord, Yeshua Hamashiach. I use the various names of my creator I prefer YHWH because it reminds me that He is not like the gods of other people. When I met a man named Jesus (pronounced Hay-soos in Spanish) I thought it best for me to start referring to my Lord as Yeshua. My relationship with Him is personal thus it is unique to me.

I don’t go to church every Sunday, I do my own Bible study, Bible research and talk to YHWH directly. I think everyone should be like me.

PHILIPPIANS 2:12-13
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

What good is it to dedicate your time and energy to church attendance if when a problem arises you don’t know what to do so you turn to man for answers?  Philippians states “work out your own salvation”. But, if you are dependent on someone else to tell you what to believe He, God, cannot work in you “to will and to do for His good pleasure.”

ROMANS 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

How can you expect things to work out for good IF you have no clue what HIS PURPOSE in your life is. It is only when you seek His face on your own that you grow in understanding and faith. It is this personal relationship with YHWH that allows you to know during difficult times that no weapon formed against you will succeed or that a thousand may fail, fall, but you will remain standing.

ISAIAH 54:17
No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.

PSALM 91:7
A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.

YES, hanging out with like believers is a good thing. The problem is, as I look around today, many people who attend church don’t believe. 

In the midst of the medical and political chaos America is trying to create YHWH is speaking. God is lifting up those who will speak on His behalf to those who have ears and want to hear, eyes and want to see.

As David leads the nation and Noah builds the ark. Will you not listen? He has provided Rahabs, to lead you out of the stronghold. He has positioned Esthers in your community to teach you what to do. Ruth has been gathering provisions. There is even a child (one with child like faith) who has fish and bread in a basket.

Far to many of you are like Lot’s wife- you keep looking back. You are worried, fearful, panicking, complaining like the children of Israel after being lead out of Egypt. Many Christians are looking at the problem therefore they don't see that Jesus already provide the answer.

Sure your church had great age appropriate programs for the children. And the coffee area is a great place to socialize with your friends. I know the worship is good and the message is short and to the point. In your church offerings is what you do in addition to greeting one another, BUT. 

BUT, after the Church Leader finishes the series he was on and before beginning the next one, do you feel confident to handle the crisis. Do you know what to say when the doctor tells you- Your child has stage 4 Cancer? Are you able to cope with a spouse who comes to tell you that he / she is homosexual? When Satan gets in your face and challenges you with  a personal worst case scenario are you able to handle it. DO YOU KNOW HOW TO WORK OUT YOUR OWN SALVATION? For many Christians the answer is -no.

My faith is based on my who I believe I am. I am not a sinner, I was a sinner but Jesus became my Lord and Savior and from that moment on I became a new creation. I am a Saint, perfected by the blood of the Lamb, yes I sin but I am not a sinner. YHWH does not inhabit the vessels of sinners and I am filled with the Spirit of the living God, therefore I am more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37)  and live a victorious life. .  How about you?

TODAY, EL SHADDAI IS SPEAKING. Many Christians are to busy listening to the news to hear what He is saying. Others heard what He said but could not hold on to His words because they were reaching for popular opinion on Facebook.  I tell you, the Bible is presenting itself as it is written and you, many of you, don’t see it.

MATTHEW 13:11-12, 15
He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, so that I should heal them.’

I believe COVID-19 has become a self fulfilling prophecy to many who were looking for the bottom to fall out on this nation. The Word teaches we are to look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2) not man but we have been conditioned / programmed to follow man. We are to turn to Him in times of trouble not government, not our Church Leader. (Remember, Romans 2:11 states For there is no partiality with God.)  Unfortunately, because people seek bad news and not the good news of the gospel, despite regular church attendance YHWH’s children are not equipped to handle this man made crisis.

The ark is being built, but there will not be a flood.

THE WRONG COMMUNION

It is embarrassing! I expect non-believers to be fearful and obsessed with things but, to see Christians acting like the people of the world is embarrassing. How can we share the gospel when the world sees “Christians” behaving just like them!

Yeshua said: “do this in remembrance of Me.” WE ARE TO REMEMBER HIM! We take communion, the wine and the bread, to remember the Promises of YHWH which were guaranteed through His Son’s willingness to enter earth as flesh and shed His blood as the Sacrificial Lamb for the world.

Instead people are using hand sanitizer as if it could save them from the plague. Hand sanitizer has become communion for many. They wipe their hands trusting it to save them from the plague known as COVID-19.

In a previous post I talked about how TOILET PAPER HAS BECOME THE GOLDEN CALF. Since there is no mention of diarrhea as a side effect of getting cold stocking up on this item is just as useless as when the children of Israel created the molten image while waiting on Moses to bring them a message from Yehovah.

COVID-19 is not the only virus, bacteria or disease that exist in the world today. Good hygiene is an excellent practice but it will not save you from a virus that you inhale. Hand sanitizer is a man made product which has become a tradition.

It is clear to me that Church attenders have embraced the ways of the world which do not require faith in YHWH. Our position should always be that of Psalm 91:7 “A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.”

You can take communion right now, wherever you are. You do not need a clergy member to present it to you. You don’t even need bread and wine or juice. Get a piece of bread and some water, dedicate it (pray for the Lord to receive it for what it is intended to represent) and then as is presented in Scripture (1 Corinthians 11:23-25) remember His promises and His sacrifice for you.

MARCH 15, 2020 - A DAY OF PRAYER

THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA HAS DECLARED THIS DAY, SUNDAY, MARCH 15, 2020, A DAY OF PRAYER

JOHN 10:10 NEW KING JAMES VERSION
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Who is this thief? Who is it that comes to steal, to kill and to destroy the children of Yehovah Elohim? It is Satan and his force of demons and demoniacally influenced people. Satan: lies, he cheats, he steals and will pretend to be a child of the Light in order to concur GOD’s children.

2 SAMUEL 24:25  New King James Version
And David built there an altar to the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the Lord heeded the prayers for the land, and the plague was withdrawn from Israel.

The President has declared this day to be a day of prayer and I will submit to that request. My prayer is two-fold based on John 10:10. 1) I will bind the enemy (Matthew 16:19, 18:18). 2) I will seek wisdom from Him as to what to pray next (James 1:5)

SPIRITUAL WARFARE

I declare that the lies being spoken over the United States of America and throughout the world fall on deaf ears and only the Truth of El Shaddai be heard.
I bind the works of the enemy, this day so that peace will once again reign.

PRAYER OF INTERCESSION 

Father God, I come to you as your child, humbled and with a sorrowful heart. I see Your children perishing because of the lies that were told to them (Hosea 4:6). Do not reject us O Lord I pray.
It is as it was written, there are many wolves in sheep’s clothing this day and your children are gullible. Yeshua warned us:  “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.” (MATTHEW 7:15 NKJV)  And we fell prey to the lies of the enemy who presented themselves not only in the government and in the medical profession but in the pulpit and in the homes.
The Psalmist proclaimed: (PSALM 107:6-7 NEW KING JAMES)
Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses. And He led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city for a dwelling place.

Lead us Father, to a place of wholeness. You did not give us a spirit of fear but that of a sound mind.

Father please place a hedge of protection around all of your laborers who go about your business.

DON'T BE IGNORANT

This is the third and hopefully final post I will present on my observations of the COVID-19 virus. I awakened this morning to answers of questions, more answers than I care to write about. The bottom line: GOD IS NOT PLEASED WITH THE BEHAVIOR OF HIS CHILDREN.

If you asked Him what to do about the Corona Virus, he would have told you.

When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus. But since they could see the man who had been healed standing there with them, there was nothing they could say. 

It is not that I don’t take illness seriously enough as many would suggest, it is that I trust YHWH more than man. I have read, studied and meditated on the Word of God and put it above all things. Like Peter and John I have been in the presence of the Lord.

ACTS 4:12-14 KING JAMES VERSION
12)  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
13)  Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

There really is no other way to be saved but through Jesus. Salvation includes more than just the promise of eternity with YHWH when we die but health and wholeness as we live. Peter and John did not have fancy titles, they were not affiliated with the CDC, WHO, or world renown hospital they new Yeshua. Healing came because of Jesus.

IS THE WORD REAL?

In the days of Noah people knew of God but they lived their lives as if He was just a god. It took Noah between 100 to 120 years to build the Ark yet the Israelites continued their lives as if YHWH would always be around.

GENESIS 7:5 KING JAMES VERSION
And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him. 

It could not have been easy to not do what everyone else was doing. Noah was doing something he had never done before for an event that had never happened before because YHWH said.

YHWH’s word does not always have to make sense. Many times the ways of the world may be more logical to our finite minds than what Scripture teaches BUT the Word is always righter than the world.

People fear getting sick and they are looking for solutions. Christians fear getting a virus that most people, the majority of people, will not get. Proverbs 5:7-8 teaches us that we are not smarter than YHWH.  “Do not be wise in your own eyes” - Don’t be so full of yourself.  Your respect for Yehovah’s word should be more significant than that of the worlds.

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? 

Why Christian, follower of Yeshua, are you trusting the worLd, which is full of Lies and not the Word of God?

THE GOLD CALF

It is disturbing to me that people who: attend church more than I do, give more money to the church than I do, volunteer in the church more than I do, have memorized more Scripture than I have, DON’T KNOW THE WORD OF YHWH. Believers are in distress and responding to things of the world as if they did not have the Word of God that has specific promises in regard to health and healing.

I was amazed to see people buying toilet paper because the media and others who DO NOT KNOW GOD said things were bad.

EXODUS 32:1-4 KING JAMES VERSION
1)  And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

Where did they get the idea to buy toilet paper? I am just using this as an example because it is just as ridiculous and the people giving Aaron their gold earrings. If you saw some of the images people were purchasing toilet tissue, despite there being no indication that it would be needed, in such large quantities as if having it in their home would save them. There were reports of fights in stores over the paper product. Stores, limited the amount of toilet tissue purchases.

What did the purchase of toilet tissue get the buyer?

• The merchants profited. 
• The buyer messed up their household budget with unplanned purchases or increased credit card debt.
• And YHWH saw people turn to things and not Him.

The molten calf did not save the children of Israel nor is toilet paper or hand sanitizer going to deliver people from COVID-19, also known as the Corona Virus.

EXODUS 32:7 KING JAMES VERSION
 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves: 

Dear Christians, you have corrupted yourself; you have shown your disbelief in the Word of YHWH.

THE STOCK MARKET & COVID-19.....It's Just A Test

NETTIEISM: It is another attempt to destroy the People of YHWH, specifically President Donald J Trump.  

THE STOCK MARKET

The COVID-19 (also known as the Corona Virus, is like a match. If you strike a match there is a small flame that will eventually go out.  If you place the match in the middle of kindle there will be a fire, I use kindle in my fireplace- this too will go out eventually. However, if you add fuel to the kindle and then strike a match you risk an uncontrollable fire.
COVID-19 is the match that has produced flames of fear. There are wealthy individuals whose hearts are towards controlling whoever and whatever they can, including governments are like kindle. The media has always been a source of fuel; negative news sells and spreads quickly. The media grabbed the match, COVID-19, and quickly spread fuel around it. Power hungry individuals began using their stock as kindle for the media. The people saw the flames and their fear grew.

So now we not only have the Stock Market reacting to a virus (among other things) but we have individuals who do not understand what is going afraid they are going to die.

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF…

• People remembered that it is the Flu season and it is important to stay healthy?
• People took care of themselves and their environment and cleaned themselves and they area?
• People ate and lived healthily?
• People turned off the news?
• PEOPLE PRAYED????

Joseph went through a lot but in the end he lived and was able to help the very people who persecuted him.

What we see now is the revealing of the hearts and minds of the people.  God does not give us, His children, fear (2 Timothy 1:7). Fear is a tool of Satan’s and those who receive it are receiving a curse.

And then, there are those who believe they can influence the world, including the outcome of an election. These prideful people are self destructing, there lack of humility will trip them up (Proverbs 16:18).

Years ago I wrote an ebook entitled: YOU’RE NOT READY. The book was inspired by my research on Prepping and Homesteading. I believe these things we are experiencing: hurricanes, tornados, blizzardes, diseases, and even the stock market decline are “drills”. MANAGING YOUR BUSINESSES $$$$

WHY I AM NOT A DEMOCRAT.

NETTIE-OLOGY: Once upon a time I was a Democrat, I can’t force myself, despite the pressure to be one, to be a Democrat again. There are three categories I can place my reasons for not being a Democrat in: faith, history and lifestyle.

I have said that I ran away before the #walkaway movement was even an option but, I actually eased away. I ran away from traditional churches. I could not keep up with the “Black Church”, in fact it was an African Methodist Episcopalian church that turned me completely away from denominations and thrust me into a non-denominational church that would become the seed to my understanding of YHWH’s word.

Three things that are still very clear in my mind regarding the HISTORIC A.M.E. church I was a member of. The mindset of the people, who were prouder of being a member of a Black church than their knowledge of Scripture. Second, during an election year, any politician who wanted the “Black” vote visited this church, which was the church leaders way of telling the sheeple who to vote for. And finally, after years of being a part of the “Historically Black Church” lives were not changed for the better.

Heaven is not segregated, I changed churches I joined a church in which taking notes, asking questions and carrying your Bible were the norm not the exception. The church was mostly Black but all people were welcome and we often visited non-black churches to hear a particular speaker. The Pastor taught the Word as it was written not as it was interpreted.

After about a year I began voting my faith not a party. I became a registered Independent.

The one thing the Black church lead me to do was take a closer look at history.  My mother taught me the importance of knowing why I believe what I believe.

When encountering Black atheist I was told Christianity was the “White man’s” religion. I began researching Black people in the Bible. I learned that there were Black people in the Bible.

If they lied about Christianity being the “White man’s religion”, what else did they lie about? We are taught about great men and women like: Madam C. J. Walker and George Washington Carver. If White people oppressed Black people how did they succeed?

No longer dependent on libraries or saving up money to purchase books, I have access to a wealth of information via the Internet. Democrats and supporters of the Democrat ideology did not tell the truth about a lot of history. The more I study the more I discover- the Democrat Party is not the party for Black people.

I became a Registered Republican when I moved to Florida in 1998. I briefly registered as a Conservative but re-registered with the Republicans because I wanted the record to show that this Black female was not a Democrat.

Before I joined the historically Black church, I worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a predominantly Black hospital. It was in this hospital, working the night shift, that I sat with a homosexual who quoted Scripture from Genesis to Revelation proving that homosexuality was wrong. This man taught me that his lifestyle was wrong but he did not want to stop because his many lovers were church leaders in large churches that kept him in the lifestyle he enjoyed in exchange for his silence.

No one had to teach me that abortion was and is wrong.

Lifestyle and the freedoms associated with it is why I could not be a Democrat again. The Democrat party promotes homosexuality, same sex unions, transgenderism and even young people changing their gender- this is wrong according to Scripture. Democrats not only support abortion but refuse to speak out against those within their party that endorse abortions when giving birth- THIS IS BLATANT MURDER!  Democrats do not support Christians and their values but want Christians to embrace Islamic ideology. Democrats do not support the rights of citizens as defined by the Constitution of the United States of America. 

Democrats are what we classify as liberal but are actually anarchist when it comes to tolerance. Democrats are Socialist / Communist in government regulations. Democrats are capitalist when it comes to their own lifestyles. But, worst of all, DEMOCRATS ARE ANTI-CHRIST, they reject the foundations of Christian living.

I cannot support a political party that does not submit to biblical truths and constitutional guidelines. AND THAT IS WHY I AM NOT A DEMOCRAT!

NETTIE-ISM: I don’t think any one is surprised at the lasciviousness we see in the world today. There is, however, a sense of sorrow at how depraved many Believers, in the Word of Yahovah, are. Knowing what the Word of YHWH declares it is impossible for those of us to trust in int to turn a blind eye to the crude behavior.

Growing up in a world in which modesty was the norm, it is difficult to navigate in this anti-Christ atmosphere, particularly when the church promotes it. Many “Christians” have conformed to the ways of the world as churches begin endorsing homosexuality. Their are church leaders who have “blessed” organizations such as Planned Parenthood accepting the worlds ideology that it is a ‘woman’s right to choose”; it is not.

The world has become consumed with desires of the flesh. People seek to feel good externally justifying such behaviors as: over eating, over spending, and sexual satisfaction. The problem is- the flesh is never satisfied, thus the desire for that temporary joy increases and can become more perverted.

Living in the world is to live according to the flesh. At first glance, it seems an easier way to exist yet, for fleshly pleasure seekers there is no peace. Like any addiction, there will never be enough.

Living in the Word is to live according to the Spirit; as Believers the Spirit of YHWH is alive in us. When we learn to subdue the matters of the flesh and do what is right in YHWH’s eyes there is peace.

I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

But who wants to do the right thing? With Homosexual Church Leaders manipulating the word of God to accommodate fleshly lifestyles.

Who wants to live by the standards of many churches today? No one wants to be cursed with a curse if you choose to pay household bills instead of giving ten percent of your income.

I BELIEVE, each of us have to walk with YHWH as He leads us individually. Moses and Joshua were two great leaders but their purpose was different- Moses lead the children of Israel out of bondage; Joshua lead the children of Israel into the Promised land. Both Moses and Joshua walked with God but their journey was different and they were leading different people with different understandings of God; they walked with YHWH differently.

I think it is very important that individuals evaluate the words being spoken to them regarding what the Bible says.  DO NOT BE AFRAID TO CHALLENGE YOUR CHURCH LEADER, not in a disrespectful way.
