I WAS WRONG! #COVID-19

NETTIE-OLOGY: Until I am convinced otherwise I stand on what I stand on. I will not yield a position until I am confident that I need to change. 

                      

Earlier this year I accepted the governments mandate that I wear a mask. I did not know what the Corona Virus was nor did I know how to treat it. I do know viruses are hard to treat.

My antenna’s went up when the President shared the belief that Hydrochoriquine was helpful in many cases- NOT ALL. I was convinced that it was helpful when Liberals insisted that a vaccine was the only hope. 

Note on the Vaccine: People take a flu shot and still get the flu! 

As time moved forward, I noticed a personality transition in people like Dr. Fauci. In my opinion he became arrogant.  This was in late March, early April. When it became clear that Dr. Fauci was full of himself his credibility, that never was 100% I my book, went to zero. 

My common sense went into high gear and I began thinking about what I knew and did not know. 

For me, the ‘elephant in the room’ was the mask. The government seemed to be trying very had to convince me to wear a mask all the time.  One day I was freely talking to my neighbor and in less than 24 hours the government was telling me I could not talk to that same person unless I had a mask on. In my mind: If my neighbor had COVID yesterday I got it yesterday- no need for a mask. 

Mask are symbolic of a bigger problem in the world. 

HEBREWS 13:17 KING JAMES VERSION

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. 

I based my willingness to shelter-in and where a mask when I am out because Scripture teaches us to submit to the authority. I  obey the laws of the government  however the government is not GOD! In my life- YHWH has the final authority.

People are placing their trust in the mask. People believe if they wear the mask they are safe and the people around them are safe. People believe this, in my opinion, because the government said it was so.   Unfortunately, the  various  government entities are in the midst of conflict within itself resulting in confusion among the people. 

1 CORINTHIANS 14:33 KING JAMES VERSION

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. 

The reason I do not care about church closings is because they were not helping. The church was/ is promoting the same narrative that the government is promoting adding fuel to the flame of fear!

2 TIMOTHY 1:7  KING JAMES VERSION

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 

Christians are in full panic mode just like the unbelievers. I sat and watched my church leader speak via the internet in a calm rational voice about how we would get through this- week after week. My church leader is waiting for the government to give him permission to open the doors of the church- I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT.

The church should never have closed but once we knew what the enemy was and how to treat there was / is no reason for the church to close it's doors, except now the people are afraid. I support the churches whose doors are open. 

Here is my position: 

• I believe that, because the COVID-19 is a virus there are natural ways of treating it. 
• I believe an unhealthy person who catches the virus will have a more difficult time getting better, just like if they caught any other virus. 
• I believe, because Americans have abused medicines for so long that it is harder to treat many illnesses. As a whole, Americans take to many antibiotics, to many analgesics, to many over the counter drugs and so forth. 
• I believe there are those who want to make money and the simple treatments are not profitable. 
• I believe in the word of YHWH and His promises which say we are healed.
• Finally, I believe, the church has not properly taught its’ membership how to trust YHWH. The saints and the sinners have turned to the government for help and the sinners have taken this crisis and used it to their advantage, this is what many have been saying since March! 

This is why I am publicly and in writing stating: I WAS WRONG. Even though Scripture teaches us to submit to the authority, we do not disregard the words of our higher authority, YHWH, to submit to man. 

DANIEL 3:12 KING JAMES VERSION

There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. 

The mask is symbolic of where people are putting their trust. This is demonstrated by the animosity they show towards those who do not wear a mask. The government, backed by the silent church, has instilled the fear of death in many. 

I do not want to get any disease, not even COVID-19 and I definitely do not want to die.  I will wear a mask to enter a store that requires it, actually I now have a face covering, but I am not going along with all this other extreme behavior because someone says it is the only way. YESHUA IS THE ONLY WAY.

BIBLE STUDY: IS YHWH IN CONTROL?

NETTIE-OLOGY: I don’t think people know what the word ‘sovereign’ means. These individuals declare: “God is in control”, because “He is sovereign”. YHWH is Sovereign because He is the Final authority.

There is no greater authority than YHWH’s. Satan is allowed to rule those who are not in Him, people credit everything that happens to “His will” (Ephesians 6:12, 1 John 4:3, John 17:5-10). 

ISAIAH 55:11 KING JAMES VERSION 

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

It does not matter what is happening in the world, it cannot interfere with His plans (John 16:33).

ROMANS 8:28 KING JAMES VERSION

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 

YHWH does not stop bad things from happening. From the beginning we had the ability to choose. According to John 16:33 we can expect to have troubles, tribulations, and we can expect to be victorious in Him. 

PSALM 23:4 KING JAMES VERSION 

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 

Based on Romans 8:28 we know that no matter what happens things will work out according to His purpose. Isaiah 55:11 reminds us that He has already spoken what His will is.  

Most Believers understand that YHWH is Alpha, the Beginning, and Omega, the End; the question is: Do they appreciate their ability to choose the middle? We have a choice. 

DEUTERONOMY 30:19-20 KING JAMES VERSION

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: that thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them. 

As Believers we must be yielded to His way via His Words. 

COLOSSIANS 3:16-17 KING JAMES VERSION

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. 

As Believers we must trust Him more than we trust man or the government. 

PROVERBS 3:5-6 KING JAMES VERSION

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 

• YHWH is not a dictator, controlling the comings and goings of people in the world. 
• YHWH is not a puppet master, manipulating the actions of others.
• YHWH is not an authoritarian, demanding that it be His way or the highway! 
• YHWH is sovereign, He is Alpha and Omega. What He established in the beginning will be so in the end. 

JEREMIAH 1:4-7 NEW KING JAMES VERSION

The word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,    before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

“Alas, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too young.”

But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.  

If Jeremiah was under the “controlling’ watch of GOD, why would He say: “Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,”? 

I have heard church leaders rationalize the behaviors of many biblical heroes. For example: Joseph was sold into slavery and sent to jail to get rid of his pride. IF THE BIBLE DOES NOT EXPLAIN IT, WE DON’T KNOW WHY! 

ISAIAH 55:6-9 KING JAMES VERSION

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 

We do not know why things happen other than the ability to choose. It is written, Deuteronomy 30:19, we have the ability to choose, some people choose the path to death. 

This is why repentance is so important. Repentance is not an apology, it is a behavior change. Let me say that another way: When a person repents he or she does not confess his sins in front of the church or admit that she is a sinner; to repent is to stop doing what YHWH says not to do. 

2 CHRONICLES 7:14 KING JAMES VERSION

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 

If YHWH was in “control” as many confess there really would be no reason for 2 Chronicles 7:14. Why if He controls everything did He go out of His way to send His word (John 1:1-14)?

REVELATION 1:11 NEW KING JAMES VERSION 

saying, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches [b]which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”
