IN SEARCH OF A TRUMP ALTERNATIVE

 Proverbs 4:5 (KJV)

Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.

I repeat myself: I am neither Democrat nor Republican; I am registered No Political Affiliation, and I like it that way. However, I am on record as one who votes Republican and I am not pleased with the options I am seeing right now.

I am not one who thinks Donald J. Trump deserves to be President because of the last election. As a Christian I believe no one can save American and God can use anyone to take this nation in the right direction. I was hoping to see, in Trump, a level of maturity and humility that comes with understanding. President Trump knows politicians are how manipulative and deceptive we know how successful he, Trump, was as President in representing the people despite their actives. Clearly, he did know how devious they were; dare I say demonic?

As he campaigns, I only listen to snippets of his speeches, he speaks of his past successes; yesterday is gone. Perhaps it is important to remind some individuals of what he has done. If we are to remember his successes then we will also have to examine his failures, which include his putting people in office who have subsequently turned against him including Pence, and his accepting the “you know what” protocol which shut down the country and cost many people their jobs.

What really bothers me, regarding President Trump, is his continued name calling of his opponents and even his recent parody of Biden; so immature. I think the “I” speeches as I call them and the name calling  are what really leads me to not really care for him.

Vivek Rammaswammy has been a breath of fresh air, Republicans would be wise to listen to him. I have listened to quite a few of his speeches and interviews- he makes sense. He is Hindu, I know God can use anyone and the U.S.A. is in this world not part of the Kingdom of God; something to think about. He has a lot of ideas but he is young, not only in age but in experience. Vivek lacks wisdom.

I like DeSantis, he may be influenced by large doners however he has an understanding of the way things work politically. And I also believe he has a moral compass, his faith will restrain him. I think his biggest hurdle is  most Republicans are determined to have Trump save American.

And another thing  Trump believes banning abortions after six weeks is a mistake! Huh?

Proverbs 3:5-7 (KJV)

5  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

7  Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

I can never remember he name. Haley, Nikki Haley former U.N Ambassador.  Some people think we should have a woman as th next President, I think we need someone qualified. She is smart and female and if she were to win, I think she would be over her head.

Now, Senator Tim Scott is Black thus he gets recognition for that. Larry Elder, a Black man, is also running for President but he is to intelligent and has to much integrity (I think) for the Republican National Committee to even recognize his candidacy. No one really expect Tim Scott to win but he may get a cabinet post.

I have never heard of North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum and I was not impressed when I watchted the debate, the first one.  Which makes it easier to not feel bad about ignoring Chris Chistie and Mike Pence the two “I hate Trump” candidates.

The good news, The Democrats are worst off than the Republicans. Their list of potential candidates, especially since Kennedy plans on switching to Independent. If Kennedy becomes an independent I suspect both Republicans and Democrats will support him  because Trump fatigue is a very real issue for those of us who are not riding the Trump choo-choo train.

I firmly believe America is in the middle of a spiritual battle. This is not about who will become President but getting the church to come back to living as God has commanded his children to live.

2 Chronicles 7:12-18 (KJV)

12  And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.

13  If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;

14  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

15  Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.

16  For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

17  And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and shalt observe my statutes and my judgments;

18  Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel.

DAY 5 OF 7: ADJUSTING MY BAD ATTITUDE

If you ask God to show you your flaws- he will.

On Sunday, August 20, I began a seven day journey of self evaluation and correction. My intent was to share with readers what I discovered about me.

I wrote one post that has yet to be published and jotted some incomplete thoughts in my private journal. This morning, day 5, I realize some very serious character flaws.

Romans 3:23-28 (KJV)

23  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

24  Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

25  Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

26  To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

27  Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

28  Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

I think it was on day 3, I was told I had a vindictive nature! Not me! I insisted, demanded that the speaker correct himself, he did not. What he said was: none of us are perfect and all of us have some vindictiveness in us.

Romans 12:19 (KJV)

19  Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

I have done petty things to get back at people who have irritated me. I take pride in being nice to people who I choose to be nice to yet justify not helping others. Is this vindictive? It was an attitude of self-righteousness, as nice of a person I try to be, I realize I do have an ugly side.

On Day 3 I had to admit that I had unresolved anger, resentment based on rejection. I thought I had resolved those issues, and to some extent I have but there were some unresolved things that came to mind.

Ephesians 4:26-29 (KJV)

26  Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

27  Neither give place to the devil.

28  Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

29  Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

I was talking to an unbeliever and the words that came out of my mouth was unexpected- “corrupt communication”.

Matthew 12:34 (KJV)

34  O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

In four days I discovered that I had: a vindictive attitude, unresolved hurts from childhood rejection which manifested as anger, and fear.

My body is not responding as it used to, rheumatoid arthritis can be a beast. It is one of the reasons why I decided to take 7 days to examine myself. I need to eat right, exercise and focus more on my relationship with God than my circumstances here on earth. I lack the motivation to do the right thing.

Romans 7:22-25 (KJV)

22  For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

23  But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

24  O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

25  I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Yesterday, I was reminded of the blessings of God. I watched part one of a 2 part Bible study: BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT- Pastor Livingston  I am Baptized in the Holy Spirit and I do pray in an unknown tongue. The message reminded me that I have help. God knows my flaws and because I asked Him to show them to me He did. The Apostle Paul asked: “who shall deliver me from the body of this death?”  (Romans 7:24. The answer is Jesus, Jesus has delivered me from this body.

Everyday I must choose to be lead by the Holy Spirit because everyday Satan will try to lead me astray.

John 10:10 (KJV)

10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Galatians 5:16 (KJV)

16  This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

I have gone before the throne of grace seeking His forgiveness for the things that I said. When the harsh words were spoken earlier this week I corrected myself before the end of the conversation.

Pastor Livingston, in his teaching, reminded me that I am to live God glory, so I shall.

Finally, part of my problem was focusing to much on the things of this world. It bothers me that Christians put so much confidence in politicians. It bothers me that we tolerate what should be intolerable. I know evil exist but God is greater. His mercies, God’s, are forever and this my soul knows very well.

1 John 2:15-17 (KJV)

15  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

17  And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

WALKING BY FAITH

Is there such a thing as perfect faith? As I discover my shortcomings I discover areas in which I have lacked faith. When trials come my way, I learn how my faith has grown.

My lips stammer as I reveal to others what I believe. Yes, I believe what I speak (2 Corinthians 4:13) yet, I have doubt because I become defensive when I am challenged by people I know and love. It is written: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1 KJV) People want evidence, all I can do is show them me and let them know that I am better today because of Him. Despite my stammering lips He helps me to go and grow; I walk by faith (2 Corinthians 5:7)

Isaiah 28:9-13 (KJV)

9  Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

10  For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

11  For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

12  To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

13  But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

GOODBYE YOUTUBE

 Hebrews 12:1-2 (KJV)

1  Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

I deleted my YouTube channel because I want to write more than I want to sit in front of a camera and talk.

YouTube became a burden to me, a weight. My subcribers grew this year from 4 to 84 but I wanted out. I wanted to go back to writing.

Hebrews states I should lay aside every weight, I should to run with patience the race that is in front of me. My race is about helping people help themselves and I do this best face to face. I make a point of encouraging people to read the Bible for themselves, yes there are audio Bibles and video Bibles but it is written “it is written” for a reason. Man can restrict videos and they will try to manipulate the written word but an original text is an original text. Right now I am an unknown, my words will be under the radar {so to speak} for a while. I believe my words and the words of others will help others someday.

I talk about going back to basics, living a simpler godly life, this is what Jesus died for. My desire is to help my sisters in Christ understand His will for us, YouTube was an introduction. There is so much to unlearn and learn because Believers are so out of order, out of the will of God, that it is going to take time to make the necessary adjustments.

I am not a credentialed theologian, I am a layperson. I do not want to tell women what to do I want to show them where in the Bible they can begin studying so she can learn for herself. I want to share my experiences when necessary and my observations, I want to take my time “run with patience” the race that Father God has set before me.

I am hoping that the over 4 thousand Facebook Friends will leave as well. Most of them don’t get my post, the numbers limit the post I do want to see. I chose to keep Facebook because of the groups I belong to and that is where I promote my crafts as well as my writings. Hopefully people will read my post and click the ad links so that I can make money however I am still going to write.

Today I layed aside more weight- relationships. That will be another post.
NOTE: This means any links to my YouTube channel are no longer valid.

some AMERICANS REPENTED BUT...

On January 1, 1863 the Emancipation Proclamation was issued by President Abraham Lincoln, officially. This document stated the

“On September 22, 1862, Lincoln issued the preliminary Emancipation Proclamation.[4] Its third paragraph reads:

That on the first day of January, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three, all persons held as slaves within any State or designated part of a State, the people whereof shall then be in rebellion against the United States, shall be then, thenceforward, and forever free; and the executive government of the United States, including the military and naval authority thereof, will recognize and maintain the freedom of such persons, and will do no act or acts to repress such persons, or any of them, in any efforts they may make for their actual freedom.”  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emancipation_Proclamation

Slavery was and is wrong, though the Bible speaks of slavery it also speaks of the treatment of slaves and the freeing of slaves. The Bible speaks of consequences of the mistreatment of those held in bondage. In abolishing slavery Christian Americans realized how wrong the practice was, back then faith and morality were important to the majority of citizens. There are those who called themselves Christian but did not agree with the freeing of Black men, women and children, this is what lead to the American Civil War - April 17, 1861 to May 26, 1865.

Ezekiel 18:30 (KJV)

30  Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

Acts 8:22 (KJV)

22  Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.

What happened to men and women in Africa was wrong. To be re-sold and stripped of their identity  cannot be justified, even if they worshiped idols. The Civil War was a battle of ideology and righteousness won.  Slavery was abolished with the passing of the the 13th Amendment- January 31, 1865.

The Bible does not change with the year; the Bible does not change based on culture; the Word of God is today as it was centuries ago thus life begins at conception. To end a pregnancy on purpose is to go against the Word of God.

“In 1970, Jane Roe (a fictional name used in court documents to protect the plaintiff’s identity) filed a lawsuit against Henry Wade, the district attorney of Dallas County, Texas, where she resided, challenging a Texas law making abortion illegal except by a doctor’s orders to save a woman’s life. In her lawsuit, Roe alleged that the state laws were unconstitutionally vague and abridged her right of personal privacy, protected by the First, Fourth, Fifth, Ninth, and Fourteenth Amendments.” https://www.oyez.org/cases/1971/70-18

Though it may be true that women have been having abortions for years the Supreme Court Decision determined that States could not make laws prohibiting a woman from terminating the life in her womb.

"Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113 (1973),[1] was a landmark decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in which the Court ruled that the Constitution of the United States generally protected a pregnant individual's liberty to have an abortion. The decision struck down many abortion laws, and caused an ongoing abortion debate in the United States about whether, or to what extent, abortion should be legal, who should decide the legality of abortion, and what the role of moral and religious views in the political sphere should be.[2][3] The decision also shaped debate concerning which methods the Supreme Court should use in constitutional adjudication.”  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roe_v._Wade

Since the passing of Woe vs. Wade over 63 Million babies have been killed, aborted.

Psalm 22:9-10 (KJV)

9  But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.

10  I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.

Before we enter the world God is aware of our existence; a pregnancy may be a surprise to the mother and father but God knew and knows.

Isaiah 44:24 (KJV)

24  Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

Jeremiah 1:4-5 (KJV)

4  Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

5  Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

The arguments for abortion are worldly but not based on science or the Bible. Pro-abortionist refer to the unborn child as an embryo, a clump of cells, ignoring the fact that we are all a group of cells. A group of cells make a body organ, body systems are composed of a group of organs and this creates a person. Everything a person needs to survive outside of the womb is in him or her while growing in the womb. Many women and pro-abortionist declare “my body my choice”, meaning a woman should be able to get rid of anything she does not like as it relates to her body. The baby grows unique to the mother for example: he or she may have different blood types. womb is a place in which a baby resides at conception until such time the cells are developed enough to live outside of the womb.

June 2022 the Supreme Court overturned it’s decision regarding Roe vs. Wade, this decision has not changed the minds of those who support abortion.

“Norma Leah Nelson McCorvey (September 22, 1947 – February 18, 2017), also known by the pseudonym "Jane Roe", was the plaintiff in the landmark American legal case Roe v. Wade in which the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in 1973 that individual state laws banning abortion were unconstitutional.[2]”

Later in her life, McCorvey became an Evangelical Protestant and in her remaining years, a Roman Catholic, and took part in the anti-abortion movement.[3] McCorvey stated then that her involvement in Roe was "the biggest mistake of [her] life".[4] However, in the Nick Sweeney documentary AKA Jane Roe, McCorvey said, in what she called her "deathbed confession", that "she never really supported the anti-abortion movement" and that she had been paid for her anti-abortion sentiments.[5]  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norma_McCorvey

Jane Roe repented and she, whose real name is Norma Leah Nelson McCorvey, joined the ranks of other Americans who are Christian and  believe the Bible is just as relevant today as it was thousands of years ago. For Christians it should never have been an issue because the Bible is not in support of abortion

As we celebrate America’s 247th Birthday, we cannot deny the ugly side of our history.  AS Christians we can also celebrate the mercies of God our Creator. As Christian Americans we can celebrate the acknowledgment of such sins as slavery and abortion, but we must recognize that the battle is not over.

Not all Americans have repented not all people who call themselves Christian have allowed jesus to be Lord of their life.

GOD'S WORD HAS NOT CHANGED

I realize that when I am reading Scripture what is going on in my life influences what I see in the Bible. There really is no new revelation when a person reads Scripture, we either develop a better understanding or create a  perverted perspective.

1 CORINTHIANS 2:15-16 KING JAMES VERSION

15  But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

16  For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

GALATIANS 5:16-17 KING JAMES VERSION

16  This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

17  For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

When I read Scripture I try to put my flesh aside; when I develop an understanding I have to make sure my fleshly thinking is not interfering with spiritual understanding. Praying before, during and after I read Scripture is very important.

Romans 8:9 (KJV)

9  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

I am currently reading the English Standard Version (ESV) of the Bible. As I indicated on my post “BECOMING A TITUS WOMAN” (January 24,2023), I received a better understanding of the woman coming out of man later I had a better understanding of Cain and Ables’ offerings. I am taken aback; stunned at the words I am reading, this was not taught to me in all the years of Bible teaching or Bible study.

Just like graduating from an  Ivy League school no longer carries the prestige it once did, far to many churches today have gotten away from preaching what is written in Scripture.

1 THESSALONIANS 2:3-6 KING JAMES VERSION

3  For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:

4  But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.

5  For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:

6  Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ.

Many churches today focus on pleasing men. So many churches have “a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:” of which Scriptures tells us “from such turn away.” (2 Timothy 3:5 KJV) This is why I am struggling to find a church home, a place to hear the word, grow in the word and serve.

 GENESIS 9:13-15 ENGLISH STANDARD VERSION

13 I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant that is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh. And the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.

When you see a rainbow remember it belongs to God, it is a remembrance to Him of His promise to us. And, the rainbow is a reminder to us of His word not mains opinions or declarations. Many churches are now teaching other doctrine- stay away from such false teachings. Again I write:  “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” (2 TIMOTHY 3:5 KING JAMES VERSION}

I am editing this writing Wednesday June 28, 2023, during a month in which Satan and his followers glorify behavior the Word speaks against. There are buildings, I will not call it a church, that facilitate the perverting of the rainbow and it’s leaders who have denied God’s purpose for the man and the woman. Again: “from such  turn away.” I have made it to the book of Leviticus and though I am not a fan of the ESV Bible I can tell you God’s word has not change.

WHAT TYPE OF MAN DO YOU NOT WANT

A question came up on Social Media today for women: Do you like for the man to open the door for you? Quite a few women said “no”.  I shared an post that included the statement, men should take a woman to church not the club; a woman stated she did not want to go to church with as a date. My question: What type of man do women want?

When I listen to women and read their post I develop an understanding why so many women have bad relationships. Many women don’t know what they want in a man. Christian women do not know what they want in a man.

I see many single women who celebrate their ability to sleep with as many men as they choose because of their independence. The world encourages women to: be all you can be, thus women becomes CEO’s of their own companies, work very hard and accumulate a lot of stuff. Women have achieved success on their own thus they do not need a man to open a door for them or even take them to church, they are the Pastor of the church! It seems, these women only need a man for one thing, and then there are those women who allow other women to do that! (SMH!)

In 2023 their are men with dresses on who will allow the “man” to open the door for him with his weave, make-up, and dress on. In 2023 their are men with dresses on who will stay home and prepare meals, clean the house, take care of children that the other men has custody of, from his first marriage because she thought he was the better parent and she wanted to be the queen that she dreamed of being, and go to church (where the church leader may be a woman married to a woman or a man in a dress, or a church leader who will join two men or two women together in “union”). Men is dresses know what type of man they want.

  • And, these men in dresses also get the jobs women wanted and thought they would get because of the Equal Rights Amendment.
  • And, these men in dresses also win medals in women’s sports because they wear dresses (today’s women prefer yoga pants) and are very good at make-up application.
  • And, these men in dresses are teaching boys how to wear dresses. I wonder how many men in Congress like men in dresses? (Just a thought???????)

For the record, the MEN in my life open the door for me, pay the tab wherever we go and have no problem taking me to church.  Yes I can do it myself, I don’t have to prove anything to anyone but I do have to please God.

Titus 2:3-5 (KJV)

3  The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

4  That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

5  To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

BEGINNING TO BE ME

I don’t know if I have found my voice or if my voice has developed over the years, I think it is the latter. I have the same desires today as I did at 20; I love the same activities today as I did at forty, the difference is I feel free to do it my way.

I cannot remember a time in my life in which people wanted me to do things a different way. People have always liked me, accept for the ones that didn’t, they just wanted me to be more like them. I am different, I have always been different and I don’t want to change.

Today, maybe it was yesterday, or perhaps it was last month I don’t know, but, I am beginning to be me. I am beginning to be more of me and there will be people who will not like it. The main thing about beginning to be me is knowing that I just won’t get it right- most of the time.

I am OK with not being perfect just as long as I have perfect love. I love writing, sewing, and helping the people I love and I get a kick out of helping strangers.

I love God. This statement deserves its’ own sentence and paragraph because it is the foundation of my beginning. For years I was an undercover God only person but now it is my badge of honor and I look forward to people rejecting me because I have begun to be bold about who I am.

STILL LEARNING

I cannot teach people who do not want to learn from me and I cannot learn from people I do not respect. Is this the truth? Or, is the real problem, you, I don’t want to learn.

There are many things we want to do and we want to do it perfectly the first time. This is the problem, we want instant gratification. That is not how life works; we learn the alphabet before we learn to write.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV)

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

I must, we must learn how to learn.

Proverbs 4:7 (KJV)

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

I have determined within myself to slow down and learn. It is not easy because at 63 I realize how much time has already gone by. Young people think they have plenty of time to make mistakes.

Matthew 25:13 (KJV)

Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Three things that I remember:

  • My son died at the age of 28
  • My mother died at the age of 70
  • Jesus is coming and I don’t know when.

Whatever God has purposed me to do I must do it with excellence not in a hurry.

BIBLE READING: I SEE WHAT I SEE

 Wednesday, January 25, 2023 10:27:40 PM

I realize that when I am reading Scripture what is going on in my life, or in the world in which I am aware of, influences what I see in the Bible. There really is no new revelation when a person reads Scripture, we develop a better understanding or a perverted one.

When I read Scripture I put my flesh aside; when I develop an understanding I have to make sure my fleshly thinking is not interfering with spiritual understanding. Praying before, during and after I read Scripture is very important, it does effect my understanding.  As I read the English Standard Version of the Bible, it is very important that my flesh is not a part of my understanding.

I shared on Tuesday (24th) what I saw as it relates to the woman coming out of man. I shared on Tuesday evening, what I saw as it relates to Cain and Ables offerings. I am taken aback; stunned at the words I am reading, this was not taught to me as I am reading. It is because I see what I see on the pages that I have slowed down my reading. I am thankful that I have a study Bible and other reference tools.

I do believe that most churches today have gotten away from preaching what is written. Just like graduating from an  Ivy League school no longer carries the prestige it once did, having titles before your church position or letters after your name is not indicative of accuracy in preaching or teaching. Churches have become motivational centers assiting individuals obtain fleshly desires.

But, I see and read about those who are reading Scripture for themselves and stepping away from entities that glorify humanity and not the Creator of humanity. So many churches have “a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:” of which Scriptures tells us “from such turn away.” (2 Timothy 3:5 KJV) This is why I am struggling to find a church home, a place to hear the word, grow in the word and serve.  Nevertheless, I continue to read the Word and I see what I see.

When you see a rainbow remember it belongs to God, it is a remembrance to Him of His promise to us. And, the rainbow is a reminder to us of His word not mains opinions or declarations. Many churches are now teaching other doctrine- stay away from such false teachings. Again I write:  “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” (2 TIMOTHY 3:5 KING JAMES VERSION}

THAT WASN'T CAIN'S BEST

 Tuesday, January 24, 2023 7:29:47 PM

GENESIS 4:10-12 ENGLISH STANDARD VERSION

10 And the Lord said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood is crying to me from the ground. 11 And now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand. 12 When you work the ground, it shall no longer yield to you its strength. You shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth.”

I was reading the story of Cain and Able in the ESV translation and I was thinking how “they”, various church leaders, talked about how Cain’s offering was not good because Able offered a blood sacrifice. What I now believe: Cain offered God a fruit basket and Able did not just give God a lamb.

GENESIS 4:3-4  KING JAMES VERSION

3  And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. 4  And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

Able actually slaughtered and prepared his offering whereas Cain just picked a few things and gave it to God. Had Cain gathered wheat, processed it and made cake and / or bread it would have been an acceptable offering.

To make matters worst Cain became angry because God appreciated Ables efforts. His solution was to eliminate the competition, he killed his brother.

God asked Cain: “What have you done?” It was not just killing his brother but blood spilled on the very dirt that he needed to farm. Anger, jealousy, pride, strife and even hate are emotions that will cause a person to respond irrationally. Cain’s curse did not come from God but from the ground that he just contaminated. Adam was cursed with hard labor but Cain not only had to work hard but he was not guaranteed a crop.

No one taught me this in the churches I was a part of because the church leaders were focused on me giving the right offering, the right amount of money. A message about blood sacrifices was more intimidating than one of a fruit basket, or even a loaf of bread. Yet, the message that would have and does help me the most is how I go to God.

Able took what he had and prepared it to the best of his ability, that is what God received. Able took what he had and gave it to God because he was supposed to give something. Furthermore, Cains reaction to Able being blessed and him not is a lesson we all need to learn. We have young people and adults steeling and even killing to get what they do not deserve.

LUKE 6:35-38KING JAMES VERSION

35  But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

36  Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

37   Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

38  Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

If you take Luke 6:38 and read it in conjunction with verses 35-37 do you see how your behavior affects your blessings? Your life? Are you walking in love, forgiveness and showing mercy to your family, friends and even your enemies? Are you giving people the benefit of the doubt? I was taught that Luke 6:38 was about money, I stopped thinking that a long time ago but now I am convinced it is not.

The story of Cain and Able is about doing your best and giving your best. We need to stop trying to do just enough to get by.          Written by Marsha L Floyd

I AM READING THE ENGLISH STANDARD BIBLE VERSION

 Tuesday, January 24, 2023 7:53:22 AM

On Sunday (January 22) I started reading the English Standard Version (ESV) Bible. My betrothed and I decided to read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation again this year in Chronological order and I suggested we read the ESV and he agreed. The reason I wanted to read the ESV is because I like reading different Bible translations each time I read all 66 books of the Bible and I had never read the ESV. The King James Version is still my favorite.

On Sunday I was reading and had a hmmmm moment: the first woman came out of man. The first woman came out of man all other people would come out of woman ONLY if man planted the seed in the woman.

GENESIS 2:21-22 ENGLISH STANDARD VERSION

21 So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. 22 And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man.

I have heard quite a few interpretations based on those verses the primary theme justifying woman being equal to man. What I read was woman came out of man’s midsection, just as baby’s come out of woman’s mid section; she came out from within him. This has nothing to do with equality or roles in life and everything to do with the woman being a part of man.

EPHESIANS 5:22 KING JAMES VERSION

22  Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

It is not about equality but God’s order of authority. Many people have vetoed the idea of submission because many individuals have abused the concept of submission and authority; mankind has perverted Gods way.

It is about relationship not position of authority. If you can accept the idea that woman came out of man and you believe that a man is the head of the household, an earthly representative of the Kingdom of God, then you will have made the first step to aligning yourself with the will of God.

Women need to stop giving male friends husband privileges and men need to align their lifestyles with Gods word and will. A wife is a part of the man, a girlfriend is not. For a man to abuse his wife is to abuse himself. A woman needs to love God enough to allow Him to bring her to the man He wants to be her husband and a man needs to love God enough that He wants to be like Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach.

In addition we need to value the “seed”. Men need to stop planting their seed in wombs not meant to produce godly fruit. Women need to value their womb and prepare it to receive God sanctioned seed that will produce good fruit- godly children.    Written by Marsha L Floydd

GENESIS 2:22 KING JAMES VERSION

22  And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

KING JAMES VERSION

Ephesians 5:25-30 (KJV)

25  Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26  That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

27  That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

28  So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

29  For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

30  For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

IT'S GOING TO GET MESSY!

Friday, January 20, 2023 8:13:34 AM

My VLOGS have not been as smooth as I want them to me and the number of videos that I have not edited reflect the multi-ideas that have been coming to mind. There is a lot happening around the world and we, Believers, need to be aware of them while living the life we live as individuals.

I have been talking to Father God about this for a few weeks and I finally understood that my multi-ideas are a result of the changes this world is going through. The time of our Lord’s return is coming closer and as Scripture teaches it’s going to be a messy transition. As individuals we are, either on purpose or as a matter of survival, changing; I am changing.

This transition is messy, at least it looks messy on the surface. If you pay attention to my words you will discover there is a method to the madness!

My most recent videos: I AM A CHRISTIAN, BEFORE YOU GIVE UP, HOW PEOPLE SPEND MONEY AND WHY THEY NEED TO STOP WHAT YOU REALLY NEED TO REPENT ABOUT are all words of caution to Believers. You will survive but the struggle will be noticeable and some people will turn away from the faith because of it. In those videos I: shared what I believe, talked about staying on course even though you messed up, money management, and other things we need to repent about.  I recorded those videos in 2 days, yes I vomited those words out thus they look even more unprofessional as my usual videos are. That same day, yesterday in real time, I recorded the video I am uploading now: HOW MUCH DO YOU LOVE GOD.

And now it all makes sense.

Deuteronomy 8:18-20 (KJV)

18  But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

19  And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

20  As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the LORD your God.

Each of us must decide who we will bow to. I have decided to follow Jesus. The video I AM A CHRISTIAN, is the second video I made regarding my faith, there is no turning back for me and I realize I may have to walk alone-no friends or family. However, I believe Matthew 6:33 and therefore I seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness thus I believe He will survive all that I need no matter how expensive things become.        Written by Marsha L Floyd

BEING A WOMAN WHO REALLY BELIEVES

 Sunday, January 15, 2023 6:32:26 PM

My biggest problem is: I am a woman of faith who loves being a woman of faith and, I Blog as well as Vlog about it.

I consider myself a writer BUT I refuse to be told how to do what I believe the Holy Spirit is telling me to do.  I wrote once, and I still believe it to be true, I am a Prophetic Scribe; there are lots of Poetic Scribes they just do not refer themselves as such.  But, not everything I write or talk about is prophetic.

I believe a real feminine woman, feminist, is a woman who is enjoys everything about being female. A Christian feminine woman loves obeying God’s word. Many of today’s “Christian” women have no idea what it means to be a Christian woman because the world has become so influential in the church culture. I write about this and I plan on writing more.

I am  good at sewing, OK at knitting and crocheting. I am struggling, but not giving up, with gardening, canning, preserving and, yes, cooking but I am improving. I talk about it on my YouTube channel and I write about it from time to time.

I am Black, it is hard for me to find many Christian women who love God, maintain conservative values, and are Black. And, I dress modestly with a head covering- oh my! That means many women do not know how to interact with me. Is it because of my frankness?

Being a woman who really, really, really believes the Bible is my reference manual regarding living on earth and not denominations or government makes life interesting. Being a woman of faith who loves being a woman of faith is not a problem to me but it can be a problem to others.

Titus 2:3-5 (KJV)

3  The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

4  That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

5  To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Matthew 6:31-33 (KJV)

31  Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32  (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

THE SELF RIGHTEOUS AND THE SINNER

SISTERS: WHERE IS YOUR ROBE?

The streets are not meat markets or grocery stores, women should not be showing men ‘what they are going to get’. Today’s woman behave as if accenting their body in a revealing way is a good thing- it is not. The truth is, many women are not presenting their true selves when they leave their homes. From the top of their head to the souls of their feet they present themselves as something a man shopping may want. Christian women should present themselves as a ‘living” sacrifice to the wolves of the world.

Romans 12:1-2 (KJV)

1  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

There are women who wear wigs or color their hair or add length to their hair; these women, in addition to the make-up wear false eyelashes. These women may have had surgery to enlarge their breast or buttocks and / or flatten their bellies; or they may wear padded bras or girdles, I hear corsets are making a comeback.  Women dress to reveal a shape that will attract a man (but not God); breast flattering tops and skin tight pants and place themselves on pedestals, aka stilettos! If these women consider themselves Christians then they must know they are not pleasing God by conforming to the ways of the world.

Romans instructs the Believer to present himself / herself a living sacrifice that is holy, acceptable to God not a man. John teaches that we, the Believer, are to not love the things in this world- you cannot love both the things in this world and God. When a woman dresses as if going outside is like being a piece of meat being displayed in the meat section of a store, hoping someone will notice her and take her home, she is not acting like a Child of God but a child of this world.

The world will reject modest dressing but God will be pleased. Other women will judge your choice of attire but God will be pleased. Lustful men will respect you but not flatter you, with their lying tongues; “The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death. (Proverbs 21:6 KJV)” Women of faith are dressed by their Father in heaven which includes being clothed with righteousness.

Isaiah 61:10 (KJV)

10  I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

Dear Christian women: Father God covers you fully. When men see you that should not know if you have granny panties, thongs or without any undergarments, people should not know if you are a size 10. If you dress like a woman of God you will be treated like a woman of God by godly men, Satan’s children will see you as a challenge. Don’t take your garment of salvation off even if you are going to work! It is time to cover yourself with the robe of righteousness
