VOTING MY FAITH

THE FIRST AMENDMENT
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The modern day interpretation of the above words is wrong. The words “separation of church and state” is something “they” said and it continues. 

“The phrase "separation of church and state" is derived from the "wall of separation between church and state" phrase coined by Thomas Jefferson in his 1802 letter to the Danbury Baptist Association in Connecticut. In the letter, Jefferson stated that the First Amendment created a "wall of separation" between church and state and that religion was "a matter which lies solely between Man & his God". Jefferson had witnessed the turmoil of American colonists who struggled to combine governance with religious expression, and some colonies experimented with religious freedom while others supported an established church.” (from Google)

Once I started studying God’s word with understanding I began voting my faith. As I began learning about the platforms of the two primary political parties I began voting more for one party, Republican, than the other Democrat. I transitioned from Democrat to Republican to non-partisan to Republican to now: No Political Affiliation; I toyed with the idea of going back to Republican but I did not. As my faith grows my understanding of God’s will increases.

My beliefs were confirmed today as I continue in my study of obedience (see verses below). First Samuel 12:13 reveals that the people chose Saul as their leader, God gave them what they want and warned them that they still had to obey Him;  “If ye will fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall both ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following the LORD your God:” God is still God no matter who is President, Governor, Mayor, congress man or woman, council representative or church leader 

I believe there is one God, YHWH, there are two genders- male and female, marriage is between a man and a woman and life begins at conception; Scripture supports this belief. I, therefore, cannot support a political organization that: rejects YHWH (the Democrats took God out of their political platform), promotes abortion at any time, and  celebrates same sex unions and sexual perversions (transgenderism and the medical treatments that go along with it, including in children).  The Democrat Party and other political organizations as well as the “Modern American Church” has turned their backs on the Word of God and developed their own agenda. Despite there short comings, there is only one political party that I see today that understands there is one God. Note: even many in the Amish community are choosing to vote Republican this year.  I will vote my faith.

Finally, even if Donald J Trump is sent to prison and his name removed from the ballot I will vote for President Donald J Trump because I believe he is who my God wants me to vote for. 

“But if ye will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be against you”.

1 Samuel 12:12-19 (KJV) 

12  And when ye saw that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon came against you, ye said unto me, Nay; but a king shall reign over us: when the LORD your God was your king. 

13  Now therefore behold the king whom ye have chosen, and whom ye have desired! and, behold, the LORD hath set a king over you. 

14  If ye will fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall both ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following the LORD your God: 

15  But if ye will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be against you, as it was against your fathers.

17  Is it not wheat harvest to day? I will call unto the LORD, and he shall send thunder and rain; that ye may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which ye have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking you a king. 

18  So Samuel called unto the LORD; and the LORD sent thunder and rain that day: and all the people greatly feared the LORD and Samuel. 

19  And all the people said unto Samuel, Pray for thy servants unto the LORD thy God, that we die not: for we have added unto all our sins this evil, to ask us a king. 

WORDS THAT TRIGGER LIBERAL WOMEN

 “Your being domestic.” A statement that actually “triggered”, aggravated, the woman I was talking to. We were having a discussion about making bread and house cleaning, seems domestic to me! She insisted she was not being domestic she was being “creative”. I began thinking about other terms of behavior that upset loyal Democrats, a.k.a. liberals. 

DOMESTIC- By definition this word simply relates to the concerns of a specific area. As a nation our leaders develop “domestic” policies as the head of the house the individual is concerned with the development of the household A domestic servant is concerned with the home, generally a specific area or areas. To be domestic, as an individual, simply indicates that you are focused on how your home: is it clean, are the utilities on, are there any repairs that need to be done is there food in the house, etc. It seems that Liberals don’t want to be associated with managing their homes.

HOMEMAKER/ HOUSEWIFE / STAY-AT-HOME MOMS - These terms are traditionally associated with a woman whose career choice is inside the home and not becoming a CEO of some major corporation; she makes the decision not to bring in a regular income. Most modern day women make the choice to be financially independent, the idea of being dependent on a man is abhorrent to them. Personally, I prefer the term homemaker to housewife because we are not married to our house.

To run a home successfully with children is, in my opinion, harder than being a career woman. As I, in my later years, attempt at cooking, cleaning, sewing, knitting, crocheting, paying household bills, planning trips, keeping up with children (even adult children have issues from time to time) and maintaining a relationship, I look forward to retiring. Work hinders my ability to do the things that I desire to do as a woman. Did I mention: Daily praying and reading of God’s word? If all I had to do was work my life would be very easy. 

WIFE /WOMAN’S WORK/ FEMALE ROLES -  I will define a woman as any individual with “XX” chromosomes; a surgical created vagina does not make a person female; based on this definition (the correct one) a woman can accept the role of wife, she can do what is traditionally referred to as “woman’s work and as a wife she can develop household responsibilities that, roles.

It is true that women can do most of the work men can do an men can do most of the work that women do; I am not offended by the phrase “woman’s work”, I just don’t use it. 

There are roles, depending on the era, that are seen as male roles and female roles. (*I wonder how many people are still reading?) Once upon a time men sewed more than women, it was when the sewing machine was created for home use that women started sewing. Women knowing how to use a gun is not a modern day concept, women with rank in the military is. Historically, women have had to cook, clean, plow fields, provide financially and emotionally for the family as well as give birth to the baby whereas, men can cook, clean plow fields and provide financially and emotionally for the family but he cannot give birth. No matter what there can be only one head of a household, one individual who has the final say thus there are roles, a man’s role and a woman’s role. 

MOTHER / MOTHERHOOD - Why  does being a mother trigger a Liberal? Because they want me to accept the role of motherhood thus, we have the label “birth parent” being promoted among those who choose to ignore God’s word. 

BIBLE / FAITH - To be fair it is not the word Bible that triggers a liberal or the word faith, it is the application of faith in the Bible that they have a problem with. Today we see the proliferation in places that pose as Christian churches teaching lies as biblical truths. When a Believer, such as myself, attempts to share the Truth by quoting directly from the Bible, in its’ proper context, Liberals become offended and often angry.  

SUBMISSIVE - People confuse submission with slavery. To be a slave indicates the individual has no choice; you have to choose to submit yourself to another ideology or individual. I yield myself to God the Father, and to my Beloved in that order; I will not do anything that my Beloved request if it disagrees with God’s word. My Beloved is submitted to God’s word and from time to time he yields to my request. Marital submission is mutual but it is not 50 -50; someone has to have the final say thus, it is 51-49. 

I don’t believe a person can be a Democrat and submitted to God’s word, be a Christian. The Democrat platform goes against Scripture. The triggering words I discussed: domestic, homemaker, housewife, stay-at-home mom, wife, woman’s work, female roles, mother, motherhood, Bible, faith and submissive; I believe, convict the hearer. These words convict because the speaker of these words are speaking as a representative of the Kingdom of God. 

One of the motivating factors in my restructuring this blog is to help women learn to appreciate who God has made them. WE are all unique individuals with different purposes. Our purpose is based on our femaleness and we do not have to compete with a man nor do we have to be ashamed of our desire to create a beautiful home life. As a single woman I was a homemaker with a household of one submitted to God my Father; I am being promoted.
