2 TIMOTHY 3:16-17
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
READING YOUR BIBLE FROM GENESIS TO REVELATION
Many study Bibles have a guide to help you read the Bible in one year. I always recommend people read the entire Bible straight through at least once and then read it again slowly.
For those who are new believers reading the New Testament (I prefer the New Covenant) first will help. I have heard a Bible teacher say: The Old Testament is Jesus concealed the New Testament is Jesus revealed.
