MY CLEANING FORMULAS

NETTIE-ISM: A Youtuber asked me about my formula for dish washing liquid. I have one but I don't think I have done a video on it.  There are lots of videos out there and I went through quite a few finding one that I liked. I am sharing all of my formulas (Most of them anyway.)  I have added links to each formula  so that you can get a general idea of how it is prepared. (There is even one of  my own).

DISHWASHING LIQUID

1/4”   ZOTE SOAP (canuse Fels Naptha) 

2 T  BAKING SODA

1 T BORAX WASHING SODA - (Na2CO3- Sodium Carbonate- odor and germs)

2 T VINEGAR

1 t LEMON Juice or essential oil (optional) 

WATER 

Chop Zote and place in hot water to disolve complete.

Add Soap water with Baking Soda and Borax in a container -I use a large mixing bowl

You will need to add more water- start with 2-3 cups

Mix well and add Vinegar and lemon juice

What no one mentioned in the videos I watched was the solution will become a soft solid if there is not enough water. 
I am still tinkering this formula this time I made it without the baking soda, I don't know why??

My problem is getting the consistency. Not enough water and the formula will be to thick, to much water and it will be to watery. I like to allow it to thicken and add more water until I get it to the right consistency. It takes me about 2 days to. You can also add a little ready made dish washing liquid, I have- I don’t think it makes that much difference.

LAUNDRY DETERGENT / SOAP POWDER

2 BOXES 65oz. 20 MULE TEAM BORAX

2 BOXES 55oz. ARM AND HAMMER SUPER WASH

1.5 lb. OXY CLEAN STAIN REMOVER

2 bars ZOTE SOAP CHOPPED or 4 Fells Naptha 

*Note I have seen others who have used the generic form of each of these ingredients. Aside from transitioning from store bought laundry soap to my homemade bars I use name brands. 

I use a 5 gallon bucket and layer the ingredients. One box of Borax, One box of Super Wash a little Oxy and zote Mix and repeat. 

Because I triple the recipe (except the Oxy Clean) I keep this in the bucket with the top on and use another container for what I am going to use. 

**With Oxy Clean a little goes a long way.

I DO NOT USE THE LAUNDRY CRYSTAL SCENTS

DISHWASHER POWDER

(Now this I am still fine tuning) 

2 Cups ARM AND HAMMER WASHING SODA

1 Cup Citric Acid

1 C COURSE SALT

Mix well and store in a container with a good seal. The moisture will cause clumping.

Use VINEGAR as a rinse agent.

DEODORANT

I have been using this deodorant for a few years now and I don’t stink! I live in Miami and I don’t have a problem with perspiration either! 

• 3 T COCONUT OIL
• 3 T AAROWROOT POWDER
• 1 T ALUMINUM FREE BAKING SODA (some people have a sensitivity to the baking soda. It can be eliminated. But it does help absorb odor.) 
• 10 gtts essential oil (optional) I use Eucalyptus for its’ anti-bacterial properties. 

Mix these ingredients together until a paste forms. I use the small containers that can be purchased in a 6 pack at the dollar store. They are about 2 ounces each (?) 

This yields 2 of those containers. I place the one not in use in the refrigerator.

Use deodorant sparingly, If you use to much it will have the opposite effect! 

Swipe a small amount of the deodorant on your finger and massage under your arm- repeat under the other arm. 

Some people pact the deodorant into a used or purchased container so that it can be rolled on. Remember if it gets hot it will melt.

BONUS FORMULA! 

LIQUID HAND SOAP

Simply chop or shred the old pieces of soap you have and place in hot water until completely dissolved.  Since I make my own soap I use it. Do not use laundry soap.  

Monitor consistency and soap until you are happy.
Allow soap water to cool and place in dispenser.

I DON'T DO DRAMA!

NETTIE-OLOGY: Pure and simple, I say what I say and mean what I say.

The reason I don’t have many female friends, where I live now, is because I don’t gossip, disrespect my husband, or put down people who are different. I am not like all those other women people seem to talk about- I don’t do drama.

People misinterpret my demeanor. Many individuals are offended by my frankness, others misinterpret my silence. It seems people expect women to go overboard when things happen..

For the record: Calling me a “strong Black woman” is a trigger. I am not that strong although I am a Black woman, I have a personal relationship with YHWH through Yeshua; He is my strength. In my weakness He covers me with strength. 

Why is this important? Because there are a lot of women out there who do not do drama; some say they don’t do drama very dramatically.  There are a lot of single women out there who don’t do drama but are misunderstood by men who say they are not looking for drama.

This is where it gets confusing. 

Men often say they don’t do drama yet are attracted to women who are very dramatic. There are men who like the crazy! (Is it a sexual thing????) Maybe they mistake emotionalism for passion. These are the men who end up with ‘baby momma drama’! 

Men have a tendency to ignore women who do not do drama, and then they are surprised. There is an old song by the Persuaders: Thin Line Between Love and Hate- that woman did not “do drama”! If you never heard the song Google it! The bottom line is: the man kept doing wrong and then one day she had enough, her reaction caught him off guard (to say the least). Men take a calm woman for granted, they have to be on guard all the time for the drama queens. (SMH!)

Lately, I have been reading a lot of social media post from men sharing their thoughts regarding women. When you are sheltered in for months you get tired of the drama. (LOL!) I am totally fascinated as I read the young mens observations and questions as they pertain to women.  Clearly these men have focused in on women who entice their flesh and not their minds. Even young men get tired- apparently!

There are women who present themselves as perfect and then there are women who present themselves as themselves, flawed. I am reminded of another song by the Undisputed Truth: Smiling Faces Sometimes; this song was also sung by the Temptations and Rare Earth.

The eyes don’t lie! I remember my doctor looking in my eyes and telling me I was not drinking enough water; I wasn’t. My friends look in my eyes to know if I am irritated or not. My eyes don’t lie.

People who do drama will smile in your face one day and destroy your life the next day. It is your own fault! That person was always like that; you chose not to look deep before you leaped. 

What I am saying is not just in regard to personal relationships. It is important before you get into a business endeavor with someone that you also get past the emotionalism and analyze the facts. 

I submit to you: There have been many opportunities that you passed up because you thought she was to plain, he was boring.  There were financial opportunities that you disregarded because you did not see a quick return on your investment, instead you chose the mulit-level marketing opportunity and lost hundreds of dollars.  I have been there, done that and don’t do it any more.

IS IT REALLY THE MARK OF THE BEAST?

What does the mask hide?

              

NETTIE-ISM: Wearing a mask is not the mark of the beast. 

COVID-19 has given rise to quite a few theologians and political commentators who obtained their degree from the School of Emotionalism. Surpisingly, there are just as many Conservatives / Republicans as there are Democrats / Liberals who graduated from this program. 

The problem, in my opinion, is not people wearing mask but the extent to which they wear them. If you are in the car alone with the windows up you really do not need a mask on yet, people do exactly this. What this reveals is the mindset of the individual. 

ROMANS 12:2 (King James Version) 

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Just before I enter a building I will put my mask on because the sign says I must wear shirt, shoes and a mask. Although I have conformed to the rules of the establishment I have not bought into the thinking of the world which is: COVID-19 is going to kill a lot of people because they do not wear mask.

The more I learn about the virus the more I am convinced the worst his over. What remains is individuals who do not have faith and therefore believe the government. 

Wearing a mask is not a sign that a person will take the mark of the beast, the belief of a person reveals if he or she is susceptible to demonic influences.

 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. 

It is written: As Born again Believers we have the mind of Christ. When you think like Him you will ‘pay taxes to Ceaser’ even though you believe the money is going to fund such evil organizations as Planned Parenthood or sponsor someone’s gender reassignment. Yeshua fought against the teachings of the day not the deeds. 

HOSEA 4:6 (King James Version) 

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. 

YHWH said we are destroyed because of ignorance, not action. This is the problem with churches that preach motivating messages every week, what needs to be taught are “despite what you are going through” messages. We need to remember: DESPITE WHAT WE ARE GOING THROUGH YHWH IS STILL GOD. 

The problem with many of these Theological Political Opinion-ators is they are not teachers. Teachers base their lessons on research and common sense not emotional theories.  I suspect: there are people who may take the ‘mark of the beast’ who do not wear a mask.

PRAYING FOR AMERICA

FATHER GOD, 

I come to you in the name of Your Son Yeshua Hamashiach, Jesus the Messiah, I ask you to reveal publicly the adverse behaviors of those who have been killing, stealing, and destroying America (and the world).  I ask that you allow swift judgement to come upon them according to the laws of the land and those who support their sinful behavior be silenced. 

I pray this morning not for revival but for restoration. Restore Your word back into the hearts and mind of Your children.  Bring to their remembrance Your promises. Remind Your children that we are to humble ourselves and turn from worldly behaviors that go against Your word.

Thank You Lord Jesus for enduring 39 stripes that we may be healed. I thank You that those stripes included Cancer, COVID-19 and deliverance from the lies of liberals. 

I thank You Spirit of YHWH for guiding us through these troubling times and placing wisdom in our hearts.

Yeshua said: If we ask we would receive and so I thank You for giving America peace that passes all understanding. I thank You that our nation is healed and the demonic influence is once again subdued.
