John 12:24 NKJV
“Most assuredly I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls down into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.”
What does it mean when Jesus speaks of a death that leads to life? If you look at a seed, any seed, it is of a particular shape and form when it falls into the ground it changes. Over the process of time what was once a seed becomes a sprout, something not noticed by the untrained eye as it peeks above the ground. That sprout grows, subject to the elements- wind, rain, a lawn-mower, a foot. At some point it becomes noticeable to all around that something is growing BUT everyone waits to see if it will indeed become what it is suppose to come or will it succumb to the elements. If the plant does not make it, it will return to the ground; if the plant grows as it should it will produce other plants.
The key ingredient to all life is water; plants need water to grow. Humans are about 60% water (we should drink half our body weight in ounces of water daily). We also need water to grow spiritually:
1 Corinthians 3:6 NKJV
“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.”
And it is the word of God that is the word that waters.
1 John 5:6-
"This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth."

This is not a how to blog but a "You Can Do" blog. Here I will share my journey as I make quilts, carry-all-bags, and ragdolls. I will also discuss, sewing garments, knitting, crocheting, and soap making as well as gardening and cooking; all of these things I consider myself not a beginner but still a novice. I am a beginner at using the cricket maker.
