What many people do, today, is paraphrase the paraphrase of someone’s Bible interpretation. In other words they misinterpret an incorrect interpretation of Scripture. I suspect this happens for two reasons:
1. People need to justify their self-centered lifestyles.
2. Some people want to appear to be really intellectual and spiritual.
Our conscious will convict us, thus, we know we are wrong but “they” tell us it is acceptable and misrepresent Scripture to validate the wrong lifestyle.
