YES, I HAVE GIFTS!

MY JOURNEY: February 9, 2019 I had gifts that I did not know what to do with.

As I approach my 59th birthday I look back and I see the struggles I had because of ignorance.
HOSEA 4:6

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

It was ignorance, lack of knowledge, that lead me into an abusive marriage. It was ignorance that lead me to filing bankruptcy. It was a lack of knowledge that had me sitting under individuals who taught Scripture of convenience but not biblical truths that would help me grow.

Of course I am going to have difficulties in my life. There is a distinct difference between going to, hanging out and going through.  Far to often I have hung out in areas that I was not comfortable in because of fear of peoples opinions, of making a mistake (even though I was making bigger ones), or even of hurting someone’s feelings.  I have learned that I am not perfect and therefore will make mistakes which is why I need Eloheem. (see Psalm 23:4 below)

Now as I look back I understand my biggest problem was not understanding my gifts. EVERYBODY HAS GIFTS! The seminary can’t give them to you, the prophet cannot lay hands on you and transfer them to you. The Deacon Board, the Board of Trustees, nor the Church Leader can assign you gifts. Man can give you titles but only YHWH can give you godly gifts. What YHWH has given YHWH will teach (Psalm 23) and man cannot take away from you.

ROMANS 11:29
 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

I have been taught by Eloheem, the Father, the Son and the Spirit; He has directed my path for sure. From listening to a radio ministry and confessing that Jesus is Lord in the 3rd grade to being baptized in the Spirit without any understanding of what it meant to speak in tongues, to finding a church to be baptized in, YHWH has ordered my steps. Every church I have been a part of has taught me something but they did not teach me how to use my gifts according to my purpose thus I lived a life harder than I could have had I known.

ROMANS 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

But, I know now and I have learned despite the lack of knowledge of those I sat under. Technically I am a “Minister” having taken the required classes on line and received the appropriate certifications; not to mention the other numerous ministry training and development classes. I am also a Chaplain, having taken the required classes and received the appropriate certifications. I have preached and taught the word of YHWH on more than one occasion for a number of years. None of what I did would be relevant except Yeshuah directed my path.

I now know that I am who YHWH says I am and I can do what YHWH says I can do because He is the one who gave me these gifts. Who gave you your gifts?                               written by Marsha L F Randolph

PSALM 23 THE EXPANDED BIBLE

1 The Lord is my shepherd; I ·have everything I need [L- will lack nothing].
2 He ·lets me rest [makes me lie down] in green pastures. He leads me to ·calm [quiet] water.
3 He ·gives me new strength [T- renews my soul]. He leads me on paths that are ·right [righteous; or straight]    for the ·good [sake] of his ·name [reputation].
4 Even if I walk through ·a very dark valley [or the shadow of death], I will ·not be afraid [T- fear no evil], because you are with me.  Your rod and your shepherd’s staff comfort me.

5 You prepare a ·meal [L- table] for me in ·front [the presence] of my enemies. You ·pour oil of blessing on my head [anoint my head with oil; C- oil was a means of refreshment in a hot, dry environment]; you ·fill my cup to overflowing [L- make my cup overflow; C- a cup of blessing].
6 Surely your goodness and ·love [loyalty; T -mercy] will ·be with [pursue; T- follow] me all my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord ·forever [L- for length of days].
