Far to many “African-Americans” refuse to think, perhaps it would be better to say: African-Americans are focused on self and not others. It is easy to not challenge information that is presented when the data justifies personal actions. In many circles questioning popular opinion would lead to being ostracized. Thinking is how Black Conservatives developed the wisdom to leave the Democrat party.
Slavery in America was very real but it should not be the reason why a people group cannot succeed all White people were not slave owners. According to the 1860 census Mississippi had the largest percentage of families owning slaves (49%). This meant that 51% of the families in that state did not own slaves. Forty-six percent of the families in South Carolina owned slaves, Georgia 37%, Alabama 35%, Florida 34%, and the percentages continue to decline. We know that White families in the north did not own slaves. This would lead a person who was thinking -more White people did not own slaves than White people who did.
According to the 1860 Census the U. S. Population was 31,183,582; there were 393,975 slaveholders; eight percent of the families in the United States of America were slave owners.
What were we taught? What did we think?
Organizations have been created based on the belief that “White people” enslaved African-Americans and treated therefore they, White people, owe, Black people reparations. Ninety-two percent of the White families, according to the 1860 census, did not own slaves.

When he was running for office what I knew of him was: he was born in Hawaii, graduated from Harvard, married Michelle who had been disbarred, lived on the better side of Chicago, attended a Black liberation theology church, and was a community organizer before he became a Senator. Aside from the fact that he did not live a life of a Black male in America he was not qualified to be President.
African-Americans had access to this information about Barack Obama but refused to acknowledge it. They assumed, and liberals banked on, because he was Black he would champion Black causes. The reign of Barack and Michelle Obama exemplify why pigment should not be a motivating factor in choosing who to follow.
- He spent many years outside of America so what does he really know about the African-American culture?
- His relationship with the “Black” side of his family was questionable back then, now we know it is estranged at best.
- His primary theological influence was Muslim not Christian, his stepfather was Muslim. He attended Catholic school briefly as a child but as an adult he was a part of Reverend Wright’s church. There is no biblical basis for as a Black liberation theology thus his religious education is not-Christian.
- What does a Community Organizer do? I worked in the same office as a Community Organizer, she trained volunteers how to register individuals to register as Democrats.
- His record as a Senator was not significant.
- He lived on the good side of Chicago, not where all the crime is.
- He was a student at Harvard. What classes he took we don’t know because his records are sealed. Decades ago being a Harvard graduate meant something now not-so much. The one thing we do know is he smoked dope at Harvard.
- The woman he married was disbarred and is clearly anti-White people.
- After eight years of being President of the United States of America America he left this country with a laundry list of excuses and debt.
- The fact that he supports abortion and same sex marriage was reason enough for me not to vote for him.
Democrat African Americans are very anti-Trump. They believe he is a sexist, racist, homophobic White man who got a million dollar loan from his father and that is why he is so rich. Though it is true President Trump received a LOAN from his father you still have to work to turn a million into a billion. Even as a businessman Donald J Trump hired people from different walks of life and helped individuals from his own personal income and not by creating a non-profit.
Donald J Trump, a White male, has facilitated the opportunities for corporations to bring money back into the country which has lead the way to greater incomes. He has eliminated the red tape that hindered American companies to exist or grow thus allowing them to hire more people. The things the President has done for America has benefited Black Americans, but he is a White male.
Your pigment does not determine your qualifications nor should it be a determining factor in who your friends are.
Statistically speaking non-Black people are killed more by police than “African-American”. Yet, people complain about the police as if they were all prejudice and they ignore the fact that there are criminals who are Black. Over 1,800 Black babies are aborted every day! A 2016 report states that over 90% of Black homicides are the result of Black on Black crime. Law enforcement is only a problem to those who break the law.
As I was scanning the INTERNET I came across an article from BREITBART website: “5 DEVASTATING FACTS ABOUT BLACK ON BLACK CRIME” written by Jerome Hudson , November 28, 2015: The article was about a 9 year old child who was killed by an African-American gangster. “Over 1,400 more black Americans murdered other blacks in two years than were lynched from 1882 to 1968.” So why pick on the police? Because people have a habit of speaking positively about a dead person regardless of the criminal past. Friends and family will say: “He was going to pay for it.” Or “He did not have a gun.”
Yes, there are unjustified police actions but....
There is a shortage of personal responsibility in the world today and it has not escaped the African-American community. People lie, especially criminals. Criminals come in all colors.
Slavery is a painful part of America’s history, like the Japanese-American Internment camps and our treatment of America’s first residents. Japanese and Jews have used the pain of the past to push them into their future. African-Americans use the past as a reason not to move forward. People are making lots of money encouraging Black people to focus on the past.
I use the term “African-American” facetiously. Many of the Black Democrats I know do not like being called “African-American” they do so publicly because that is what everyone does. Many of them love this country and do not want to go anywhere else, they honor veterans and love the National Anthem. Rodney Howard-Brown an Evangelist from South Africa became an American citizen, he is an African- American; I find it amusing that there are Black people that say: “White people cannot be African-American.”
Pigment identity has become a stumbling block. Someone told me that the DNA tester revealed no African DNA but European despite this person being very dark skinned. My on going point is: We cannot let the pain of the past define our future, nor can looking back help you to move forward.
The history of the Black man in America is not so one sided that we can blame everything on White people. It is true that the slave owner slept with his slave women creating bi-racial babies. There were also Asian men and Black women reproducing. There were Native American men with Black women reproducing and vice versa. Not all states in America were slave states and not all southerners owned slaves. We cannot blame all white people for the sins of a segment of the population.
African-Americans are very pro-Democrat party, very anti-Trump because they believe he should do things particularly for African-Americans. Black people should get up and do for themselves.
The problem with laziness is you don’t look past the packaging, thus not understanding the consequences. One of the Obama’s appeals was free stuff: health insurance, phones, extended unemployment and so forth, these socialistic ideas were and are very appealing to the lazy at heart. Obtaining frees stuff has lead to people being dependent on those who started them on the habit, they are Democrat programs.
During the time of slavery, post civil-war and Jim Crow men and women were pressing hard, overcoming discrimination and succeeding. Anthony Johnson, also referred to as Antonio, not a white male, owned a tobacco farm in Maryland during the 1600’s. Madam C J Walker, also known as Sara Breedlove, became a millionaire in the late 1800’s. Both of these individuals worked hard and became successful despite opposition; glass ceilings were not an issue back then. Many Black men and women today understand that you cannot seek the free stuff if you really want to be financially independent.
Effort is required to achieve financial success; excuses lead to dependence.
Rosa Parks was sitting on a bus. A white person came and demanded that she get up. She did not want to. She should not have had to give up her seat because:
- She was there first- first come first served.
- She was a female- a gentleman should always yield his seat to a lady.
- She was an older woman - we should always honor those who are older than us.
- She was tired- it is simple matter of respect.
I believe that each of us should take personal responsibility for our lives. Failure is not the fault of any particular race. People fail because they either quit trying or never try at all. Success is not in having a billion dollars worth of assets, it is fulfilling a purpose (LEGALLY) despite the obstacles.
My pigment influenced the culture I am most familiar with. I left the Democrat party because I could not celebrate people of different pigments and have the attitude they, the Democrats, wanted me to have. I left the traditional Black church because it seemed to hold on to the same attitudes found in the world. I had to step away from people of color to discover the greatness of people now I can go back with a new attitude.
My desire is to help African-Americans to adjust their attitudes and become the men and women God created them to be. —written by Marsha L F Randolph
