As I have said before I don't read the Bible in a year as many people do, been there numerous times- don't do it anymore. From time to time I will read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation one book at a time for as long as it takes. Sometimes I can be in one book for months, it took me six months to read the book of Matthew, this is what I call studying Scripture.
Many Christians don't study Scripture, some don't even read it. These individuals trust others to tell them what God said.
Many Christians that I know read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation in a year. They read a Daily Word type publication and are comfortable with how their relationship with God is presenting itself.
Some Christians memorize Scripture, they may or may not read the Bible in a year but they do have a "Word" for every situation- Scripture and verse.
Quite a few individuals are admittedly not Christian and base their Bible knowledge on what "they" say. (Beware these are dangerous people.)
There is a group of individuals whom I will refer to as "Believers" who study the Word of God, search Scripture, talk to various people in order to grasp what God is doing and what he or she needs to do in response. I LIKE TO THINK I FALL IN THIS CATEGORY.
If you look at what is happening today you must understand there is a difference.
JOHN 6:28-29
Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?”
Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
What we are witnessing today is what people really really REALLY believe.
I see self-identified Christians condemning a man without any credible witnesses AND THE BIBLE IS VERY CLEAR ABOUT CONVICTING A PERSON.

“One witness shall not rise against a man concerning any iniquity or any sin that he commits; by the mouth of two or three witnesses the matter shall be established.
There should be a difference in the world as to how CHRISTIANS BEHAVE and those in the world behave, there is not. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE between those who believe in Jesus and God the creator because they do what Scripture tells them to do.
It really isn't that complicated- you either believe that God's word is supreme or you do not. Some people have put their political ideology ahead of the word of God and I SEE YOU! written by Marsha L F Randolph
