COMMON SENSE vs WILLFUL IGNORANCE

NETTIE-OLGY: What plagues loyal Democrats


The biggest problem most people have is: What they don’t know. Ignorance, not knowing, is nothing to be ashamed of, unless you do it intentionally.

The solution to not knowing is studying and applying common sense to what you learn.  What some call studying is actually listening to or reading someone’s opinion. For many people, popularity of the person who is writing or speaking makes his remarks all the more factual.

Some things defy common sense! Let me give a few examples:

A Congressional Representative talked about raising taxes after a big tax reduction bill was passed. The tax reduction has helped many Americans. Common sense would lead a thinking person to ponder:

1. The government must not have needed the money.
2. Why would a person want to give the government money he earned and could benefit his household? 

But their are Democrats and Socialist who think taxes should be raised. Non-thinking people will support the party and vote accordingly.

Since Bill Clinton was in office their has been a policy regarding illegal immigrants. Presidents, including Barack Obama have carried out these policies. The media has suddenly decided that separating children from their parents is immoral and has blamed President Trump for the problem.  Common Sense thinking:

1. Why was this not a problem when Clinton, Bush and Obama did it?
2. President Obama confined / separated the children using gates as barriers while having them sleep on cots on the floor. It was mentioned briefly on the news and then the media coverage went away. Why was this not immoral? Why did the public not cry out against the Democrats, who were the majority at the time, to do something? 
3. Why was immigration reform not a priority when Clinton, Bush and Obama were in office?
4. Though these children, who were brought into this country accompanied by non-family members, and housed in rooms with beds, hot food, games, recreational activities and education: why is Trump the immoral one? 
5. Why is there not such compassion for the children of American Citizens who break the law and are separated from their loved ones? Why aren’t millions of dollars poured into their well being?
6. Why is there not such compassion for the children of military families? They are separated from their parents who serve this country.

I submit the reason is party loyalty and not true concern of humanity. People are motivated by hate and choose to be ignorant of the truth.

Willful ignorance is an epidemic in the world today! People have a greater chance of being diagnosed as ignorant than getting the flu because they are intellectually lazy.

Americans have a reputation of being lazy because we are so blessed that most do not have to work hard to get the basics of necessities and are given even more. Free home, free food and even low to no cost clothing are available to those on this side of eternity and have both feet on American soil.

African-American’s are an excellent example of a people group who are willfully ignorant, I speak of those loyal Democrats. They have been told that the reason they do not have is because White people will not give it to them. In order to believe this you have to ignore all the rich Black people. And for those who believe only Black entertainers and athletes (aka entertainers) can become rich must ignore people like Dr. Ben Carson, Condi Leeza Rice, Alan Keys, Les Brown, and other modern day successful men and women of color. And they cannot even consider such historical Black men and women as Sojourner Truth Fredrick Douglas, Sara Breedlove, George Washington Carver or Henry Highland Garret- to know who they are would require studying.

Laziness is the seed that destroys a person, a family and a nation. Lazy people are willfully ignorant, the problem is not very many people consider themselves lazy or ignorant.

I listen to Democrats who will categorize themselves as ‘African-American’ politically but get mad if you call them an ‘African-American’ privately. These individuals have the same conversations day after day, week after week, year after year.  They are loyal to a political party that is, if they did their research, not loyal to them.

It is frustrating to listen to African-Americans complain but refuse to listen to information that can help improve their lives because I am a Trump supporter. Common sense dictates: if what a person has repeatedly done is not working then this person should do something different. What is going on in Chicago is a classic example of repeating the same thing expecting different results.

Here is another example of how common sense can be applied:
If you look at the body of a naked male and a naked female you will learn quickly that males and females are created differently. If you study anatomy and physiology you will further prove the fact that a male and a female are determined based on a chromosome. A person who chooses to be willfully ignorant of these two biological truths believe that surgery and emotions can change an unchangeable fact.
The argument that a man or a women was born of the wrong gender is proved wrong by both men and women who leave a homosexual lifestyle for a healthy heterosexual one. Unfortunately, far to many people choose to ignore this data.

There is power in overseeing a group of individuals who do not apply common sense. The greatest power is that of controlling the information these people have. Because these individuals choose to do what is easier, because they are lazy, they are by default willfully ignorant, destined not to succeed.                      written by Marsha L F Randolph
